Our First Look At Toy Story Land At Disney's Hollywood Studios! | ALL NEW Rides, Food & Merch!

In today's vlog we head to Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios to see the ALL NEW Toy Story Land! We were so excited to be invited to the media preview! We were able to tour the entire land. We rode both new rides with on ride pov footage (front and back row and night and day povs), Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster and Alien Swirling Saucers and gave our first impressions of each ride and review. We were also able to sample some of the food from Woody's Lunch Box and we were able to view most of it. Then we checked out some of the merch available for preview. At 25:49 on the price tag it says “101197” , if you add on the “1” in the bottom right corner to those numbers you get are “1011971” which goes to “October 1st 1971” the day Magic Kingdom opened. Lot’s of easter eggs hidden in Toy Story Land!😁

The Bwrighter one time years ago before pizza planet closed I remember there was a crane machine there that had alien toys in it, plush toys not squeaky toys, but I thought that was interesting. I just wished the machine looked like a rocket instead of just a normal claw game

Tim & Jen - I took my son to WDW last week and it was the best Disney trip I ever had! I'm a big fan of huge coasters..but I cant wait to ride slinky dog. I met Robert Goulet who voiced Wheezy a few years before his death in 2007 and he was telling us about working on Toy Store and you could tell how much he enjoyed it.

I don't know. I like the idea of Slinky having his launch being easy but at the same time I don't. I would love it to feel like a pull back race toy when you let go you get that jolt but I can see how that could be too intense for little kids.

The theming is phenomenal! I'm hoping that they will eventually include the RC Racer ride from Hong Kong Toy Storyland as well to really utilized the park. All that theming deserves several attractions.

Slinky Dog Dash actually has a fairly low throughput of only 1300 riders/hour. While other attractions like thunder mountain or haunted mansion are about 2000 riders/hour. This is both a good and a bad thing, as lines will be shorter for tower of terror and rock n roller coaster, but much longer for slinky dog dash

Definitely more of a walk through than a place to rush over to. The Slinky coaster is cute, but it's nothing amazing as far as thrills (I know it's supposed to cater to the younger crowd). Midway Mania is always fun, but the real thing to admire here is all the theming and creativity

ive got to admit, i am pretty surprised at how this land turned out. I wasnt too excited about it after I heard about the budget cuts but it is a lot better than I expected. Mouse Street TV they claimed they weren’t doing a soft opening all day, but around 3/4pm it was open to anyone in the park! It was amazing! I just happened to check the area one more time, before I left to ride tower of terror, and I saw a bunch of people run into the new land bc it had just opened!

SingleForever I’m totally not a roller coaster person (traumatized at 6 with Space Mountain in DLR being my first one!), but I don’t want to prevent my six year old nephew from experiencing rides. I’m grateful for family coasters like Mine Train, Barnstormer, and Slinky Dog. They give him a thrill, and I can go on with him. It’s absolutely fun and worth it to have those experiences with him :)
