Universal Orlando Construction Update! | Jurassic Park, Hagrid's Coaster & Endless Summer Resort!

In today's vlog we head to Universal Orlando Resort to see what's new in both parks. We start by taking a look around City Walk and then head into Islands of Adventure. Get to check out the Today Cafe progress and head back to see the Jurassic Park project construction, whatever it is, it's going to be awesome and I can't wait! We also take a look at the Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure's progress, it also looks amazing and I can't wait for that to open!! We finally try the Mardi Gras doughnut at Voodoo Doughnuts. It was super sweet and had a butterscotch filling (I think). I think the reason they're keeping that tree is because it's a palm tree growing in the middle of normal tree which makes it pretty interesting and probably pretty valuable so I can see why Universal would want to keep it.

Thank you for the pressed penny machines. My husband and I started collecting these when we were dating, inexpensive souvenirs and fun to display. Twenty three years later, we have collected many books, some rare like our 1892 World’s Fair and the previous Star Trek adventure pressed quarter from Las Vegas, no longer there. Quick tip for people before you head to Disney: go to your bank before you travel, ask for a shiny roll of pennies and a two rolls of quarters. So much easier than chasing down change in the parks. My wife and I had our honeymoon at WDW in 1993, visited again with our children in 2004 and 2009. We loved it. We kind of out grew WDW and the kids were really into the Harry Potter books and films. We visited Universal Studios in 2011 and were totally in awe of the immersive environment of that whole Harry Potter recreation. We all wallowed in the fantastic atmosphere! Now they are finishing up college or have already graduated so I don't think we'll be visiting again.

Our last visit was April of 2018. Would go every year if we lived closer, but we don't. When my daughter finds out Universal is working on Jurassic Park....She's going to freak! Depending on what they do, this could be exciting or she is going to be sad, and it will be time for another trip. Personally, I'm holding my breath for Hagrid's Coaster.
