Did you really ned to hammer the pistion down as 5:24? Mine did go in with just pushing it with my fingers kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3SwoXxtd9FkeMU

Not really, the vice is just a bit high up for me to comfortably push it down, I was really just tapping it in. Those locking nuts are nice, I've seen them on something before but can't remember what.
