This is a massive video! The Toku Professor walks his students through the ENTIRE history of Eleking from 1967 to 2022, covering Re-Eleking, Lim Eleking, EX Eleking, Thunder Killer, Eleking (Max Ver.) ...basically every iteration of Eleking. I'm actually breezing through Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher. While I have no emotional attachment to the Ultraman series, I do love Kaijus, and grew up with the Monster Rancher anime and Monster Rancher 4. Pretty fun so far!

An excellent video. In Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher, Eleking is one of the best starter monsters. It is a High Intelligence monster with good Life gain, meaning it's wonderful for Adventures. it is also one of the three species who can assist in unlocking Neronga, the other two being Tyrant (requires beating the game to unlock) and Thunder Killer (requires winning a specific S class tournament, near end game). Eleking are generally easy to raise, compliant, and without much effort can get up to B rank with some TLC ^^

You should have mentioned that the Eleking with a gun thing in Sevenger fight is a reference to episode 194 of Ultra Fight where he does the same. "Eleking with a gun" is a fairly known meme.

It’s always great to find more individuals that love the Kaiju/Kaijin just as much as the protagonists of Tokusatsu! Keep up the great videos! If you haven’t checked out Hyper Agent Gridman (1993) the kaiju in that series are incredibly designed!

I actually had an Eleking PVC figure from the old "Godzilla and friends" line. Had moving arms and a head. I wanted Godzilla, but Eleking was a treasure of super young 70s and 80s me.

What a great overview! I first saw Eleking on an episode of the show Gamecenter CX, when they challenged the Ultraseven SNES game. I knew absolutely nothing about Ultraman but was really drawn to the character design and wanted to know more about the kaiju in context, rather than just a boss in a video game. You gave a fantastic overview that allowed me to follow along despite being a complete stranger to Ultraman. It's well-structured and paced, and maintained a friendly and inviting tone throughout; even when you were talking about spinoffs of spinoffs, I felt like knowledge was being shared with me, rather than being lectured-at. Your graphics are super charming too! If I may offer one small bit of criticism, I would recommend adjusting the volume/mixing on your vocal track and music/sound effects. They were all playing at equal volume to my ear, which made it difficult for me to hear/understand you at points. That said, I'll be subscribing and checking out your other videos now. Ultraman Decker sounds pretty cool, and I'd like to know more about the genre overall! Your style of videos feels like a good way to get started. Keep up the good work!
