@@thetomwardshow I liked the question where you asked if they had any doubts after everything was said and done. The fact that they returned in order to try and debunk them shows that Sam and Colby respect their fans. I personally think that Cody has some kind of device hidden in his sock which is making the knocks/vibrations. If he has a device small enough to hide in his sock then he def has a way of rigging up the entire conjuring house with them too which will make it sound like someone walking up the stairs. In the debunking video you can see Cody waiting for Satori to walk in front of the camera before he removed his shoes then tugs at the front of his sock. All the knocks from the uncut video only originate from Cody’s area (according to Sam who kept pointing it out throughout the video). Either way I found the entire thing entertaining as well as this interview!
@Kerify

@@tidbitbot Wrong. Cody does not have a "definte" way to rig the house bc nothing is definite. In the end, you're calling Sam & Colby liars. You don't gotta believe. But don't take away their experience, or their fans

@@Kerify I think that Sam and Colby believe Cody and satori. The only thing in all of this that I found a bit dishonest and disingenuous was the “debunking uncut” video where they didn’t include the part where Cody removed his shoes. I really hope Cody & Satori are able to vindicate themselves by doing something like performing their method barefoot with the camera zoomed in on their feet (to prove there is no toe or ankle joint popping). That being said, this is a super polite interview but I still can't help but feel bad and uncomfortable for Sam & Colby. They are such genuine, nice, and good people, that it's really hard to see them realize they might've been taken advantage of. For their sake, I really hope Cody & Satori are able to prove that they're not faking this. If they did lie to Sam & Colby and use personal information to con them, then they're horrible people who deserve the criticism and shit storm they'll get.

The conjuring series was both really good and at the same time made me more skeptical. Satori and Cody are very damaging to the brand and legacy that Sam and Colby had built. The knocking method seems to be an authetic reaction from Sam so I do not think that they are in on that
@darlingdeb7010

There is no way they could have faked that in person unless Sam and colby are in on it. Remember, S&C gave them padded and lined house shoes that would muffle any foot popping noise. Therefore, if it's fake, the knocks would have to be added in with editing.

That's not how it works, it makes no difference what covers your feet, it's the manipulation of toe and ankle joints that makes the noises, it's well documented online, curiously the one thing that would have shown what was happening i.e. having the feet and ankles exposed while the knocking was happening was the one test that wasn't done, I wonder why ? @@darlingdeb7010

there's a couple people out there that have methods to contact dead people. I had it happen through this woman who had a method of body testing where you would say something yes or no and the woman would pull down on your arm and your body telling the truth would not go down but if lying the arm will not be able to hold its self up to being pulled down. after drinking tons of water and getting body grounded and balanced she asks questions. well my aunt wanted to contact my dead aunt and through this method my dead aunt stepped in my living aunt. not a full on possession my living aunt was 100% there. when my aunt came down I felt her come down from the ceiling and when she left she rose up and left. i thought this! in front of every guest S&C brought into the house, they dropped each others hands to show it stopping and starting with the whole “we don’t know why it happens.” so, if he used to be able to do it alone, why can he now only do it with satori? what’s the reasoning that it can now only be done with her or it’s “amplified”or whatever they were trying to say it was (despite the fact we all know that’s bs) idk if he could do it alone before, he should still be able to 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not to mention they've been in difficult situations lately making them super vulnerable. Colby being diagnosed with cancer, sam breaking up with his long term girlfriend. They found hope and comfort within what cody & satori were saying so they believed it. I don't blame them, if i was in their situation id probably believe it too. I hope this isn't the case though. In my opinion I believe it is so easy to be skeptical over what Cody and satori do because it's something people haven't seen before. Believe me I am too but what I can't explain if them feeling the vibrations on the floor and the knocks coming from different directions/parts of the house. A joint popping is going to be isolated in one place. It won't move and won't cause the vibrations they were feeling. Is there more than could be done to possibly debunk this? Sure absolutely. But in your skepticism you can't overlook certain aspects that are difficult to explain away. Either what they can do is true or Colby and Sam along with everyone else on their team were in on faking it. There have been multiple respected mediums who have come forward and said that this is a true gift. Look further past just these 4 videos.

The fact they easily verifiably lied about doing it for money automatically calls into question everything they do and say. (Cody and Satori) Not to mention when you find out who Satori’s dad is. Not to mention the fact Cody has actually been doing this “method” for 11 years now. The video from 11 years ago was a partial second of him investigating. There are many investigators who use that same technique. Once for yes. Two for no. Say the alphabet very slowly and ask for a knock. It's a way to try to illicit a response. They have used that method for over 15 years on Ghost Hunters with TAPS, and Cody has been a member of TAPS for just over 10 years. They didn't show him doing this tapping technique for any long period of time, so what happened 11 years ago in that video can not be used to discount their current abilities and method. Cody never said he got these "powers" from his near death experience. He eluded to it being a possibility, but he never said that was for sure why. Also, the patreon is strictly for their haunted museum. They have incurred a lot of costs upkeeping the items in their museum. The money they get from the patreon is used for that and hopefully the opening of that museum. Their website just shows where you can find them on socials and what events they're planning on being guests at. It in no way is for booking them specifically to do their method in some kind of reading format. They can't summon spirits or ask certain spirits to come forward. They've been attending events for years now and have done so without anyone on a widespread scale knowing about their method. They'll only do it for people they naturally cross paths with. If they truly wanted to make money off of their method, they would have at least plugged their KZbin channel. It has less than 3k subscribers. No one has even mentioned that exists, but there are hours of video of them doing this method, and they actually addressed some questions about it 5 months before Sam and Colby's video ever came out. The problem I have is that none of the debunking videos have pulled any of the videos from their channel. They have only focused on the short amount of time they were in Sam and Colby's video. That tells me that these debunkers are using Sam and Colby's name to get eyes on their channel and their claims. Another thing I have a problem with is the amount of hate and toxicity that is included in these videos. They're flat out called liars and much worse things while the creator rags on them and Sam and Colby's video with the tone of trying to sound funny, but it boils down to simply sounding like a bully. Why are insults needed to debunk someone? Why are they showing only videos that fit their narrative and ignoring the many other examples that go against what the debunker is claiming? What good does it do to speak in a condescending tone and make accusations about something that is purely speculative? It's very important to understand that their method does not work every time. It's very common for them to grab each other's wrists and absolutely nothing to happen or for them to get knocks but not be able to get any kind of concrete responses. Another thing that is important to note is that absolutely none of the debunking videos have concrete proof that they are faking anything. They make accusations and push their opinions on the viewer to the point that they and everyone who has now sided with them will go into full battle mode if anyone even mentions these questions. I have personally been insulted and threatened just for pointing these things out and respectfully asking what other people's thoughts are on the opinion and questions I bring up. I have seen multiple get attacked into silence because this whole thing simply isn't worth someone's mental health and when you have a group of people attacking you with insults and actually threatening you, the purpose of starting the conversation becomes moot and it turns into not wanting to feed into the toxicity even more. There are multiple channels that have made debunking videos that are getting thousands or hundreds of thousands of views on their video, and they've never received more than 10k views on their other videos. They've found a witch hunt and are piggybacking on this gang of negativity because it is an easy way to drive traffic to their channel, and they don't hold themselves to any type of standard of integrity. They can say whatever they want, and people believe them because they are now so convinced that Cody and Satori and their method are disingenuous that they don't see a need to fact check anything or think for themselves. The people who are pushing this narrative of them being "frauds" and "liars" are the first ones to attack anyone who may have a different opinion than them. Seeing that they are trying to debunk something, you'd think that they would respect the fact that not everyone is going to have the same opinion as them. It's completely okay to have a different opinion except when that opinion doesn't agree with them. That is hypocrisy to its fullest. I'm not saying this to make anyone believe. I'm saying this because it's very important that these unsolicited attacks of insults and threats need to stop. If you truly want to hold someone's ear, you should be respectful and treat others like human beings and the way you want to be treated. You should never go after someone just for having a different opinion or perspective on something than you. I very much appreciated Tom's approach to asking these questions and taking the time to actually listen to the answers instead of just thinking about what his next question is going to be. I respect his way of delivering the questions without already knowing what he will accept as an answer. He is transparent in his skepticism, and it's absolutely great to have a skeptics mindset, but he did so respectfully and without hate. I hope that some of these other creators can learn something from this interview about how to handle themselves when they're bringing very much needed questions to light. It is important that debunkers exist. It is important that skeptics are interested in the paranormal. There's a difference between being skeptical and cynically skeptical, tho. I am an investigator, but I look for every reason or way to explain everything that I can't understand. The last thing I'd ever do is jump to the conclusion that something is paranormal. That'd be terribly irresponsible and absolutely no way to keep my integrity in tact. Skeptics are some of the best investigators I've ever worked with. Working with someone who looks for reasons why something may not be paranormal is absolutely the best way to investigate, but at the same time spinning things to explain away unexplainable things or using coincidences to their advantage to disprove things only shows that person has a preconceived narrative they want to push and they aren't interested in truly investigating. I'm not asking anyone to believe what Cody and Satori can do. I would never push my opinions or beliefs on anyone, and I expect that same treatment back to me and everyone else who is nothing but respectful. It doesn't seem like too much to ask, but I've been surprised at how difficult that is for some people. I'm also not expecting anyone to read this whole comment, but if someone does leave a response asking me questions, I will have at least hoped they took the courtesy to read it and have the courtesy to read the response I give. If you're just responding with hate, then I have no time for you, and you're only proving that you have a preconceived narrative you're trying to force onto others. I am 100% open minded to everything and will hear out anyone who has a point to make, but I have yet to hear anyone offer concrete evidence as to Cody and Satori not being genuine. It's all been speculation and opinion based. If you've got something concrete, please share it with me. It'd be much appreciated.
