Great video! Love the color. I purchased a 2016 Chevy SS M6 Mystic Green last summer. My husband and I were 'fighting' over who got to drive the car so we found a 2016 Chevy SS M6 Red Hot that was still under the 20% sale last year so we bought a second. Happy to say we have 2 SS in the garage and we both still love the car. Still factory and plan on adding mods over the next year.

Here in Australia Holden has announced the end of the Commodore run completely....after 40 years and so a lot of people are in mourning.... A big but often not quoted bonus to these cars is with regular servicing and maintenance they are good for 200 to 250 thousand kilometres before anything needs to be rebuilt or replaced..... So again, for the money, they're a great long term investment too... My 2016 VF Series II SS Commodore gets serviced every 9 months and hasn't missed a beat yet. It'll be good for 300K+. R.I.P Commodore...

It’s a terrific feature, also I got an aftermarket engine cover, still plastic but has a splash of red so looks a bit better when I open the bonnet. I have read the comments listed here on 4/8/21. I own a 2015 SS. Lets separate fact above fiction. First fact, great review. Car is a riot to drive. What is it most like? A series 5 BMW with balls, that being mainly a naturally asperated American muscle V8 motor. This car is a niche car. Built for a select market. It is not daily driver. It gets 12mpg in town. Sticker is chump change away from $50K. Chevy brought the car to USA to help Holden satisfy a government requirement for exporting product. Holden produced only 12,000 of these units for Chevy. So turn off all the mass market BS, the deal never went down that road. 3K units per year deal. Someone mentioned future $$$ value for these cars, and that is the key. As of this writing the car is carrying a strong resale book. I bought my SS 2015 for 38K. On one of those special target 25% disc programs. 12K miles now on the car, pristine condition, car will bring low to mid $40's. These vehicles are becoming investment grade collectible cars. Keep the miles super low, absolutely no mods to the car, showroom condition, it will only appreciate in value.

I remember back in the day that my friend and I saw 1 at the 17 Chicago Auto Show and he wanted 1 so bad.. We went online looking to see if ANY Chevy dealer had a black or blue 6 speed in the Chicago area. Nope. The 5 cars we found were red, white or grey. The rest were automatics. He looked at Challengers but wanted a 4 door with a stick, so that was out as well as Chargers/300s. He ended up buying something else..We found out that many of the Chevy dealers around here didn't want to have a manual car in their inventories. It's a crime, as these were pretty neat cars, on a proven chassis.

Dialysisforever These don’t have rev-matching. However, they are incredibly easy to down shift without it. The clutch’s grab point is a little high, but it becomes very intuitive after a day or two. You quickly get to a point where you don’t think about shifting.
