Where are you from? Have you tried boudin? I’m pretty sure you would enjoy boudin balls, they’re so good.

@@TheTravelingGilbertsoh, yes I had watched it and the second one. I noticed y’all started in Alex and was wondering if y’all were from the area? I’m from Port Barre area and I’m sure y’all passed through since y’all went to Krotz Springs. Next time y’all are in the area, go to Bourque’s in Port Barre for some Jalapeño Sausage Cheese bread, boudin, balls, and crackling. I remember when Billy’s in Opelousas was just Ray’s back in the ‘80s. Ray’s sold to Billy’s, and for a time, Billy’s sold both their boudin and also Ray’s. Ray’s moved to Hwy 182 in Opelousas.

@JohnnyUtah15 Yep, my husband talks about when it was just Ray's. We live in Winnsboro. Ronnie will have to tell you where my favorite cracklin's are because I can't ever remember the name of the place, lol, but they serve them from a 5 gallon bucket. They are small and so crunchy and just yummy! I really like a place in MS called Praise da Lard! She has good cracklins and boudin. We always stop when we pass through. Another place that has good boudin....believe it or not is in Monroe at Randall's. Well, at least it used to be. I heard they were sold, and I haven't been over that way in a while. We have been to Bourque's but have not tried the bread. We will surely try it next time. Thanks for the tip.

Ohhh! Chicharrones! Or, fried pork rinds! Some are delicious! I think they get tough when they're not so fresh and have been staying hot under a warming lamp. We used to have a great Mexican store here that had delicious chicharrones. Unfortunately, they closed when they lost their lease. I'm going to have to find a new Mexican store.

I like to buy them before lunch time. They always seem better

Had boudin… had fried cheese… but never a boudin ball. They seem to be some sorta weird stepchild of a scotch egg and a jalapeño popper! 🤪

I agree . They just started adding cheese to the boudin balls within the last 10 years or so. Thanks ya'll
