That park from the end of the video is one of my favourite spots in the city. I got lost exploring the upper town once when I was young and ended up there.

The cannonball at noon. Reminds me of Edinburgh's 1 O'clock gun :)

Oh! Does it happen in the Edinburgh castle? I didn’t know that!
@AlexanderKobakhidzeAKo Жыл бұрын
@@TheTravellingFoxes yes - one cannonball for one pm. Doing that at noon requires 12... and that's expensive...

Thank you so much for the informative video. Is November a good month to visit Zagreb?
@TheTravellingFoxes11 ай бұрын
Thank you! November is a little bit colder now but if you’re lucky and there’s still more sun, it would still be nice to visit! The Christmas markets I heard are one of the best in Europe

You lovely lady have not seen not 1% of Zagreb yet. I volunteer to show it to you....zagreb is not just Gradec and Kaptol...btw it is Dolac(dolats) letter c(ts) is different from letter č(ch). to educate you a bit....when you step down the stairs from Dolac,that mini flower market in front of you is street,one of only three, that has no street numbers. it is called Splavnica....that particular one. underground creek is beneath it though in older times creek was very much above and functional.

Thank you for the information about Zagreb! It’s a nice little town; and will be my home in the near future. So nice to discover new things about it :)

@@TheTravellingFoxes little?🤣 it had area of 1700km2 in 1991 and now it is 642km2 because Zaprešić and Velika gorica are now cities for themselves and used to be suburb areas of Zagreb.
