Bajwa ji is demanding pension and other benefits equivalent to Chief Secretary, which is not justified at all. Every government employee is eligible for pension after completion of 20 years qualified service and MLAs/Ministers are drawing pension after Five years or less period. This anomaly should be removed and MLAs should be eligible for pension only after he is elected for four times. If you are elected to a post and resign the next minute, you are still eligible for a pension. What a joke on all the hardworking people who pay taxes for years and don't have any social security. There income is also tax free where as professionals have all taxes deducted before getting their salary.

@@overlord4509 dear, you just see how AAP government has deceived the public. As per Tribune report, while eliminating the multiple pension system the government has recommended ₹60000/- as basic pension plus DA as per government employees whereas previously ₹15000/- basic pension plus DA was admissible for first term and for every next term ₹15000/- was added in the basic pay and DA drawn on it. There would be few lucky person who were able to be elected four times but now even the fresher will get pension equivalent to four times MLA. What kind of change they have made rather they are successful in appeasing their own MLAs. Moreover employees pension is calculated under a formula on the basis of last pay drawn whereas it has been fixed unilaterally which is not justified. Otherwise these politicians propagate that they are doing "sewa".This does not seems to be " Sewa" rather it is earning "meva".

Being MLA is not job it's a service to society. MLA although getting less salary still get allowance and emoluments which are not given to any lay person on job. Apart from that MLAs get an status tag of representative which normal jobber doesn't get.

Salary and pension from govt treasury should be linked with per capita income of the state. Overall, CM is doing very good job.
