Kinda on Monica's side. Everyone else in the family is invited for the wedding, but not her? That's fucked up. Especially, when no one explained why it was like that to her. No one said "Hey, it might be awkward because you dated the groom", it was just "LOL, let's just not send her an invite!"

The reason you didn't click onto how important David was to Phoebe's storyline is because you didn't like Phoebe's character during the earlier seasons. David was definitely her most significant romance by this episode. It makes perfect sense. (Not ridiculing, just saying).
