If i was konami I would be severely worried watching this trailer. And ea also because ufl will keep on buying players likenesses which is definitely being agreed by mendes raiola etc etc so good luck playing fifa 24 with ronaldi messy and de bruyni with no licensed clubs and no licensed stadiums. The scary thing about it for ea and konami is we dont know how many years these agreements will last for. I'm pretty sure fifpro and ea have a yearly agreement in place so unless ea and konami change their structure and start paying big bucks for players to appear in their game they will be royally screwed.

Well all I can say is that my expectations weren’t sky high and therefore I’m not disappointed, there’s a lot to say about the little they showed. From what I saw in the gameplay the first touch looks bad and unnatural, players seems to shoot at the tip of there boots and the over all appearance of players look cartoonish. It’s just my thoughts so... but let’s see what they can improve cause they’re very new to this.

Well, I'm not fond of online gameplay anyway, so I'm not the right person to say. I really am disappointed of it, as I don't think that this form can go anywhere, as I didn't see any sim approach to it. It looks to my eyes like FIFA from 2008 edition and over, where it becomes a pin-point game, something I don't like. The graphics never played an important role to me, so I don't judge them. I think that the tactics menu is a bit complex, reminiscent of that of FIFA, as the whole game. I will surely give time to this, but at this point I am not optimistic and surely it won't be my choice if it stays as it is. Have a nice time.

Anyone who plays ultimate will know the pain of squad building and all the teams looking the same.. on the page ttb shows theuve got a bunch of leagues together.. and still got 100 chemistry.. I'm assuming it will be a blend of pes and fifa where you sign new players they'll drop the chemistry until you play a certain amount of games with them.. I think is brilliant you're not going to be bound of using 2 leagues

If anyone played club football made by codemasters from 2005 to 2008 there are a lot of aspects that are similar. If this game allows you to replay some of the greatest matches that a certain team or changing history ie rangers v zenit uefa cup final celtic Porto etc etc it certainly will be very interesting and different. With very important agents like mino raiola arguing that ea should pay fees for players to appear in their games it will certainly lead to the next few years being very interesting to say the least. If they can add more licenses from south American clubs i think this game will definitely have a niche but very happy fanbase. Add leagues with a profound structure other than the English league pyramid that is deep And you will get a lot of defranchised players including myself actually willing to give this game a chance. Tbh those hating on the game are maybe not into football deeply especially when it comes to the history and prestige of clubs and so are looking to criticize the game will obviously not pick this game up but having watched this video I'm really intrigued for what they have coming next. A big thumbs up from me.

They’ve lined themselves up perfectly to create an offline mode without having to buy any licenses; the whole concept of ‘create your own club’ is supporter by just enough club and player licensing for the time being, and the introduction of an offline mode could be accompanied by an edit mode that could allow for us to mod in the rest of the necessary players for a master league type of mod. The gameplay looked somewhat decent from what we saw, (definitely not willing to say better than PES but I’d say very possibly better than fifa) albeit we weren’t shown much outside of short snippets. All in all I’d say a pretty promising prospect of a game, which will only get better as licensing, support and revenue and the introduction of a new unreal engine progresses

The thing is, PES for example has had years to really fine tune the gameplay to what we have today, this is a game built from the ground up and team learning as they go along. It's very possible that the game plays quite badly in some areas but steadily improving over time. AI, physics, etc in Fifa and PES has been evolving over so many years. We really shouldn't be expecting a game that is even gonna be as good as FIFA gameplay wise nevermind PES, which could still be miles out in front for a long while.

@@RyanX1899 I don't find that acceptable tbh. The AI in FIFA and PES is kind of awful as well and, as you've said, they've had all this time to get it right. A defender not marking someone in the box is not acceptable for a football game and should not be accepted by any standard, but we'll see. I imagine this was on the "easiest" difficulty (if there is one) so as to easily showcase a goal.

Hmmm, not sure you have this right. Konami are killing themselves. This game isn't going to contribute to that. A higher proportion of PES players are offline players, so this isn't going to convert them. FIFA is more of an online PvP game than PES, so this style of game is more of an attack on FIFA in reality. The problem there for UFL though is two fold. Firstly, PES never won the sales battle with FIFA, even during the years that it had the better gameplay because of EA's exclusive licencing. UFL has a lot fewer licences than PES/eFootball, so that is a huge problem. Secondly, from this reveal UFL looks quite poor. Most importantly the gameplay is a long way off and the graphics are behind PES and FIFA. People are routing for them because they are new. Personally, I'm happy that the online gaming market is getting a bit of saturation, as this should reduce the profits for each online focussed game, as they'll have to share the cash around. Making online less lucrative, should reignight 'some' efforts to win the offline players.

Not impressed. Not interested in another arcade football game. The whole FUT / My Club / own squad only spin is just not what intriguing whatsoever. From the minimal gameplay we actually see it doesnt look great, but as to be expected from a small studio designing an arcade style football game. Concerning to see screenshots in conparison to fifa mobile though (the latter looked better). Hopefully things can only get bigger and better but without a proper career mode i dont see myself even installing the game at this stage. Not an online guy. But im sure this will appease folk out there that play fut.
