I think what we saw was blurred by Osha’s perspective. I don’t think Mae actually started the fire, it could’ve been a Force illusion like in Jedi Survivor or she was being controlled. Her facial expressions seemed to switch between threatening to being scared and worried for Osha and herself, I think that was intentional. I think they both saw different things and are being manipulated, either by the Jedi or Mae’s present-day master. I even think Sol might not have the full story even if the Jedi were behind the deaths of the witches, which they most likely were since Torbin was so guilty he took his own life.. The fire is also definitely not what killed the witches.. it looks like they were cut down by the Jedi. I still have that feeling that Master Indara was behind it and is some secret dark sider, possibly Mae’s master. There’s just such an off vibe about her. I still partially believe she faked her death and sent Mae to kill her.. which would work because we know Mae doesn’t know her master. I also am starting to think the masked figure is Qimir which I originally thought was a red herring, BUT I don’t think the masked figure is the master at all. Qimir might be the apprentice or just another acolyte, and it would make sense that it was Qimir because Mae meets with the masked guy at the end of ep1 and is with Qimir in ep2 and says “what are you wearing?” which makes me think the mask is his normal suit. Qimir also recited Sith code to Mae so Qimir is definitely an acolyte or the master’s apprentice. Also, we still haven’t seen the scene from the trailers of possessed Kelnaaca attacking and scarring Torbin’s face with Sol defending him, so I think we’ll get a whole other episode dedicated to Sol and Mae’s perspectives of what happened that will include that fight scene. I’m wondering if the other witches tried to keep the Jedi from taking Osha and they started a fight that Mother Aniseya didn’t want. The look in Sol’s eyes when he hugs Osha says so much, I feel like he knows way more than what he’s revealed. Also.. it’s possible the witches were in exile hiding not just from the Jedi, but also the Sith. They have the ability of creating life, that’s something Palpatine talked about. What if the Sith were after that ability from these witches? What if that’s what Mae’s master wants to use her for?

Yeah, something is definitely off about that ending. That's waaaaay too much fire for one little oil lamp, unless they're living on some special super flammable rock.

Luke was the chosen one if you watched Rebels you would know that when Maul asked Obi Won “is he the chosen one” and Obi Won “Yes”

@@TomTomTheMan94 that’s Obi Wan’s opinion because he had no faith in Anakin turning back Dave Filoni confirms this and George Lucas confirmed it was always Anakin even when he was Vader he is the chosen one Luke is just the catalyst of his return

How is he not special? He’s still the chosen one born to eventually defeat the emperor and create Luke the next so called chosen one. But this is before he was born from the force and this is the witches own dark magic or dark side use of the force creating life, not the force itself. Anakin is still insanely special, nothing here was new or rewritten

@@burakyagz5886 Nightsisters can raise a zombie army, make portals that travel you around, or give you the ability to fly. This was still pretty believable in the world of Star Wars. Anakin was created by the force, Mae & Osha were created using the force, a pretty big difference
