In a lot of bars in the US you order A drink using the name of the spirit you want so they don't sneak Banker's club in instead (Or whatever shitty Well Brand the are using) So calling it a Keeper's Old Fashioned communicates to the Bartender you want them to use Keeper's Heart into the drink. (So yes it's just called an old fashioned, but it tells the bartender what brand of whiskey you want them to use) Other ways of doing this (and more common) are saying I want an Old Fashioned w/ Jameson (Since a good bar stocks multiple brands of every spirit)

Fun fact, I was actually adopted by the Jameson’s and they have some of the original stuff before it was sold off. The family crest and the love of Jameson whiskey is still passed down to this day!

In college, our group would have this party drink: in a 1 L (or 32oz) plastic cup, we'd throw in a couple ice cubes, pour in a can of Mountain Dew ( 0.45 L or 16 oz) and top it off with Kessler Whiskey (40%).

Another terrifically hilarious vid. Callyann and Dermot are a perfect pairing again and play off each other's mistakes. At (2:43) when Callyann (after just one sip) has a problem just reading the label, and then I just don't know what's happening at (3:53) but they're definitely having a great time. Of course, Dermot admitting he's drunk (9:30) and missing his mouth while Callyann couldn't keep it together is so fun to watch over and over. 🤣🤣Also, I must give props to Paddy on his choice of clothing. His Aloha shirt (Hawaiian shirt to most others) looks great and he'd fit in right here in any bar on Oahu. 👍🤙😊 As a final note, in Hawaii, because of the melding of so many cultures here, we say a toast in several ways, "Cheers", in Hawaiian "Okole Maluna" (bottom's up), in Japanese "Kampai" or in Chinese "Gan bei" (dry or empty cup) or "Qing qing" (please please), in Filipino "Mabuhay" (long life), in Italian "Cin cin" or "Salute", or the all around favorite, "Here's spit in your eye" 🤣

Stayed home from work sick today, but I drank a big mug of shankys whip for lunch, and I felt so good I rode a chainsaw all evening.
