@@Toffel241 I agree with you Christopher people say they have elements because they have the same colors as the toa Mata... Except for oohnorak, roparak and surorak. So yeah... The difference is that pohatu has tan limbs than roparak, both kopaka and onua have grey limbs than surorak and oohnorak... So if the visorak have web spinning and energy ratukah spinning action other than elements then the only group that have elements are toa, matoran, agori bohrok, and glatorian but, rahkshi are like multiple powers, vahki are like disc launchers and robot abilities, the skakdi only have dual action tools and hypnotic zamor launchers, the barraki live underwater after they failed to defeat the Makuta to overthrow Mata nui plus they have underwater tools and squid launchers, the brotherhood of Makuta used to have elements but teridax hypnotized them with shadows to overthrow Mata nui except for miserix because miserix was in prison by krika then krika died after gorast and vamparah teamed up against icarax then gorast grabbed krika and killed him then the rest of the karda nui Makuta died from the storm, then both kojol and tridax died from tobduk's flesh eating virus, the Rahi are just animals that have same abilities as animals but some are just monsters, and let's not forget that the great beings create dangerous things including annona, karzahni, energized protodermis, antidermis etc, but on the other hand they did create friendly things like Mata nui, arthtaka, matoran, agori, glatorian, kini nui, iron wolve, etc. So that's all I got to say, I love bionicle and I love the great beings, toa, vahki, visorak, bohrok, barraki and glatorian!

These guys are probably my favorite wave of clone sets. Not a (literal) ball of awesomeness like the Bohrok, but each design had so much more individuality and personality going for it. Helps they're pretty much a MOC goldmine, and both the function and the action feature are well-thought-out and things you actually build. Still never found anything else to use a Visorak shell for, though.

I'd experimented with using them as Rhotuka Shields _a la_ the Toa Hagah, but they never really looked like anything other than Visorak shells. Happiest result I ever had with that was an MOC of Chiara (where it made sense), but that exposed spike has always made me nervous about serious play. Also: Holy shit, did you build Primal??

The visorak were great. I loved the return of secondary colours, it makes the sets more vibrant. The only one I lack is Oohnorak. And so the first time I got Keet-orange was with Keetongu. At the time I didn't even realize it was a new colour. The first time I noticed the new colour was with Hewkii. Also why do some people call them "pincers"? And others "pinchers"?

I literally only had Ehlek for two days and that crap split in two. I decided to switch his hands and feet. When I put it back to normal, 'click' and the hands were no more. An approximate total of six times of dis-assembly and reassembling ruined it.

The visorak are very nice looking sets on display, especially with sidorak and roodaka. Im just missing roporak and boggarak and then 2005 just needs 2 rahaga and the year is complete!

The only two Visorak I got were Keelerak cause it had the most realistic fangs and Oohnorak for the Keetorange parts. Sukkorak's fangs were reused a lot in later Bionicle sets. Keelerak's were also reused but not as frequently. Looking forward to Keetongu one of my all time favorite Bionicle sets.

I have to replace almost every piece in about half my collection. I have a mutilated makuta, avak and zaktan are totally destroyed, some of my visorak have broken joints, surprisingly, the toa metru seem to be the least damaged out of all of them

In talking about the minor diferences between the Visorak (beyond the colors, head pieces, and pincers), you didn't mention that Oohnorak also has shorter thighs than any other Visorak, Oohnorak and Suukorak have Bohrok limbs for forelegs, and Suukorak has a longer piece connecting the forelegs than the other breeds. I think that's all of the differences.

Eljay, I'd just like to mention that in future recap reviews you should turn up your voice volume when you're saying "Hello everyone" and the music is toning down. It's quite hard to hear your at that point for about 2 or 3 seconds. Although it's a very minor problem I feel it's not that difficult to fix. But otherwise great review as always, I'll be looking forward to next week!

The Visorak Keelerak was the oldest set I had for a while, until I got 3 bohrok and a bohrok kal on eBay today. Probably last year though I actually got them, or maybe it was 2012. I don't know.

How far the pincers can close seams to varry depending on which set of pincers they are, with green visorak pincers closing the least, and red closing the most. Also the spinners are fucking great, launched waaaay to many across the room and lost them, even managed to launch one towards the door as my mother waked in, and it landed ontop of her classes, slid in behind them and poked her in the eye.

Con: on the lower side of the head piece there's a tiny bit that pushes the pincers to make them move. These plastic bits bend after using the pincers too often. Oh and the wobbly legs increases playability because you can kinda use it for a crawling motion... in a way... so that's not a con, it's a pro.

Oh, the horror of buying Hahli Mahri. I was 8 at the time and I was putting Hahli together and I just started crying because almost every single green piece was breaking and I thought it was my fault...
