Makes sense to come up with new turtles. But as a lifelong fan I can't help but think they are not necessary and can not compare to our beloved original heroes in a half shell

I think it's a workaround to have darker stories without conflicts with Nickelodeon. My guess.

Why didnt hiroto collect leonardo Raphael splinter and donatellos bodies as morbid trophies like their plastrons and carapace or skulls as they slain his grandfather and put his mom in a fatal coma or to make mutants of his own from the radioactive ooze blood flowing in their viens also the book shows us hiroto being a psychopath displaying the skulls of his foot henchmen to be mauled and eaten by robot crows i dont understand why hiroto and baxter didn't collect the remains of the foots turtle enemies to make sure their dead as a reminder of their conquest.

What happened to shadow jones caseys adopted daughter during the arch last ronin picks up from the original mirage city at war time line april wasn't in love with casey jones until non canon ass vol3 / and vol 4 so whos casey marie jones? another thing how they get aprils brownstone and antique shop back for that Thanksgiving scene if that was destroyed in earlier events prior to last ronin and they permanently moved to Massachusetts grandma jones farm house instead of the Old Sewer Den shouldn't the story should've had the foot track them down to caseys farm house and ambushed them there instead???

That's a good question, I rather have the new generation use different weapons rather than the old ninja turtle weapons.

I hate that this story didn't develop why karai broke the truce and attacked them whos hiroto orroku and how he took over new york and became the new shredder in the years Raphael was killed by the foot and karai, when did fugitoid come to earth when did baxter stockman work for the foot how did baxter find out about the fugitoid if he was absent during the t.c.r.i. space saga, where was the original shredder in this roninverse how they kill oroku saki and who was hiroto orokus biological father shredder in mirage continuity was never related to karai and is a younger chūnin lower ranking officer that runs the new york branch american branch of the foot where as karai is Japan's foot Jonin Kage

Also if the roninverse is supposed to be a deviating branch of the mirage comics time line of the mirage universe why aren't the turtles wearing their all red mask whats with the multicolored mask, and why are they wearing clothes and acessories like the idw counterparts? where did this hamato clan separation of the orrokus & foot retcon come from, orroku nagi and saki has extra relative seen in issue 1 flashback, hamato yoshi and tang shen are ex foot clan ninja themeselves shouldn't, last ronin story where splinter and donatello goes to get ambused and killed by hiroto was meeting with these made up hamto army decked out in samurai armor shouldn't those armies on the side of splinter and donatello have been forgotten ally "Gosei Hattori & Gosei co" that owes the turtles a solid from "the passing" (that nick keeps digging for this durag pirate bandana mask design that covers the entire scalp of the head in recent iterrations of tmnt remakes pulls from.*) where these extra hamato yoshi family members come from if "Hamato Hana" is the last biological hamato niece of yoshi and the mistress/ headhunter/ lady shredder (big bang comics 10 from tales of the tmnt that was image pimiko orroku mother supposed to be tang shens sister ?*) this book is calling back characters from previous entreies in the franchise kevin eastman wasn't even involved with creating like the 2003 show buff moster hunter chick Abigail Mcfinn, why not Snok from c.r.a.p. roght wing malitia to while you're at it? where was the turtles on and off again ally leatherhead he could've been greatly used in a story like this, who the hell is casey marie jones whatever happened to casey and aprils original adopted child "Shadow Jones" that was introduced in city at war where april wanted to get away from all the turtles and casey persuing her for a romatic relationship april went to go spend time with her sister Robyn casey got hitched to Gabriella and the turtles left the farm in Massachusetts to help karai come to power as queenpin of new york where last ronin premise deviates from those truce events. where's renet the timestress this whole time and why couldn't she help to prevent her turtle friends from dying horrible deaths by this made up edge lord arkham knight hayden christiansen chris O'Donnell robin whiney anakin skywalker trope character looking to be better than his predecessors but failing ultimately because of his own narcissistic ego and the sake of being a cartooney villain? Since we're making 2003 show references wheres the turtles superhero allies black or native american who serves as the tmnt world superman and super woman 2003 show Silver Sentry or tales of the tmnt Radical aka Raven Shadowheart/ Hazel McIntyre, Battling Bernice, jahnna, louis braunze, raptarr from tales of the tmnt and 2003, metal head, the day time cop nighttime vigilante Nobody who almost arrested casey for being a kyle writtenhouse killing a kid and helping the turtles fight D.A.R.P.A who made baxter stockman work for area 5? karai in mirage continuity was not in blood relations with shredder she was older than orroku saki and had her own daughter Amai who was killed off screen by the foot elite so why would she break their truce and where did hiroto orroku come from whos his father? Why are they lazily using the idw grandfather shredder to karai this should've been the shark shredder ressurected once again or a foot mystic ressurecting orroku nagi and orroku saki to take revenge on the entire hamato clan for their dishonor and long fued that came from oroku nagi incel behavior and domestic violence on shen. Also how casey and april get her old exploded and burnt down brownstone apartment and second time around antique store thrift shop back after shredder destroyed it in leonardo microseries why arent the turtles living in Massachusettson casey grandmas farm? Why would baxter want to build foot tech ninjas for the foot if he never met them in the mirage comics and only has a vendetta on april and the turtles for ruining his money laundering sceme and holding the city at randsom for billions of dollars with his patented mousers april helped create? Also how would he know about the fugitoid if he was never apart of the turtles t.c.r.i adventures into space and was imprisoned and sent to a secret facility in Nevada also why are the turtles working with the purple dragons and whatever happened to tristan jones hunter mason in the roninverse?????

I dont like the new next generation turtles cause it ruins the tragedy of their brotherhood and that their the only mutants of their kind along with splinter and leatherhead and was the original purpose as to why both eastman and laird rejected more turtles and their friendship split because of the inclusion of mei pei chi venus de milo slash tokka the almost inclusion of kirby, idws leita & jennika/ artemesia and other mutants created from mirage licenses i.p. role playing game transdimentional turtles after the bomb that allowed fans to create their own furry or recolors of tmnt and mutaninmals the turtles are an anonomly unless you had utroms included into the roninverse in honor of their fallen comrades slash chemical spill creations they made it their duty to create new sets of tmnt to protect new york.

Don't get me wrong, THE LAST RONIN was good.. I am a huge supporter of TMNT since I was a kid! But, it's kind of hard to enjoy the story when when we can clearly see all of the main strong MALE characters being killed off while all of the FEMALE characters are pushed into prominence. And now Casey Marie is going to be the one to carry on the mantle of the Hamato Clan, and be the one to train the new breed of turtles??? This just doesn't sit right with me. Mikey should still be alive to take his rightful place as the rank of "Master Michelangelo" being the last of his clan to carry on the legacy of the Hamato Clan as his father did before him. Therefore, Michelangelo would train the new batch of turtles as his father Splinter trained him and his brothers, while still training & developing Casey Marie. And Casey Marie would be more of Michelangelo's pupil/sidekick, kind of similar to Batman & Cassandra Cain... while April O'Neil's in the turtles layer as their Computer Tech assistant. So, the next mission should've been Master Michelangelo, April, and Casey Marie(with her crew) coming up with the plan to take down the next big threat to Manhattan.... and training the new bach of Turtles as his son's & daughters. That's how it should be. #Mikeymustliveagain
