You need to do one on old school flexes. And throw in the slap scene from “My Name Is Nobody” which has to be one of the most insulting flexes ever.
@twrampage2 ай бұрын
Old school James Bond can take up half the list by himself.

John Wick’s entry for killing every bounty hunter is great, but nothing top the flex when Viggo calls John to convince him to treat the situation like civilised people.
@jeffwinn6732 ай бұрын
I don't know if it meets the definition of a flex, but Batman saving Martha... umm... make that Mrs. Kent, after she was kidnapped by Lex Luthor's thugs in Batman v Superman was amazing. Batfleck had the height and build to play a believable Batman and watching his character kick the sh*t out of that many guys - especially in the Ultimate Edition version - was the best display of Batman's fighting in any live-action Batman film.

Kelsey Grammer should definitely act more often... He was really good in a series called Boss that was on Starz as well as others.

@nyvarsitysports29 күн бұрын
@ because it is not what you did for yourself monetary-wise , it is how you carry yourself. And it is safe to say that Captain America has done his share of saving the world without the resources, for a significantly longer time than Stark.
@robinschmalbrock535729 күн бұрын
@nyvarsitysports For a significantly longer time "Capsicle" did nothing. In the MCU, there is no one more hypocritical than Steve Rodgers. In the first Avengers movie, he held his sacrifice play speech, and yet the only one who put it into practice was Tony. Steve only sacrificed his friendship with Tony by betraying him, and that should have disqualified him from being worthy.
@nyvarsitysports29 күн бұрын
@@robinschmalbrock5357 By your own admission, Captain America was a "capsicle" for a reason. Which meant he was willing, and has put his life on the line. One person did it because he believed in something bigger than himself, and the other one did it because he wanted to be remembered in a way his ego identity could live with or die for. A huge difference on the path, but in a heroic sense, the net result is the same. Not a lot of people actually got what Cap was saying but I did. And so did Stark. It ate at him.

In 300, one of the standout scenes is when the Persian army sends their “magic-wielding” characters to try and break the Spartan warriors’ spirit. These “magicians” are actually part of the Persians’ psychological warfare, using illusions and trickery to intimidate the Spartans. The most memorable part of this involves a powerful scene where the Persian “oracle” appears to cast a spell, summoning nightmarish visions. The scene is visually striking, with exaggerated, surreal imagery that plays on the Spartans’ fear, but also tests their resolve. It shows the contrast between the intimidating, mystic powers of the Persians and the raw, unflinching bravery of the Spartans. It’s a powerful moment in the film, highlighting how the Spartans, despite the enemy’s supernatural threats, stay steadfast and fight on with sheer willpower. The presence of these “magicians” is a great tool to emphasize the theme of courage against impossible odds.

Uhhhhhhh Bruce wasn't flexing on Harvey with that last line. That was him basically throwing all his resources into the one man he actually believed could rebuild Gotham and take it away from the thugs. He even says later that Gotham needs a face, and Harvey is that face. Maybe watch the movie next time?
