I love this! How simple to put together! I can see this being done in multiples keeping the background one print and then changing the petals different for each grouping, that would be great as placemats to have different colored centers. Or even do each petal differently. The choices are many. I definitely want to make a few of these. I was in Walmart today and thought of you as I “accidentally” ended up in the fabric aisle. 😆 Take care! Love to you!

Such a beautiful centerpiece ! Am wanting to make one for my sister - her birthday is in February. And i want to make one for myself, too. Maybe two or three for me so i can display my coffee mug collection on them. I also like it with the "petals" not sewn down. TYSM for sharing this project with us. Just had a thought : how about making a large one and two or more smaller ones. On the smaller ones, maybe sew the "petals" down on them ? Or, leave them unsewn like the big piece. So many different ways to make a set of these centerpieces !!! 😉😻❣️😍😘

I used to make just centerpieces and table runners with just batting. Now, I always make them with one layer of batting and one layer of Insul-Bright or other insulating material. Now, they are all safe to use to protect the table from casseroles and other hot dishes during family meals.
