My experience, and I'm not trying to convert or convince anyone, is this: I was a healthy-eating vegetarian/frequent vegan for 35-years. I think it helped my autoimmune system recover somewhat because I stopped eating junk food. But over the years with no meat, I became sick again, metabolic syndrome, on the cusp of diabetes. At 64, I thought I would have to quit driving because of massive brain fog. With a long list of maladies including gut issues, I switched to Keto. I did much better reintroducing meat, I ultimately developed big problems from oxalates. I was eating way too many "healthy" veges. Transitioning again, 13-months ago I went full-on Carnivore. All my maladies have reversed at least 90-percent. I'm happy, healthy, and driving with confidence. Now at 74, I don't see myself ever going back to eating those troublesome plants. Oh, and by the way, the severe multiple chemical sensitivities issue that I've had since 1972 completely vanished after four-months eating Carnivore. And I poop just fine now thank you very much, no more constipation, no more stinky farts. For me, fiber is absolutely unnecessary and to be completely avoided. Your mileage may vary.

The Doctor wore the shirt that has the word NIRVANA. Is he buddhist? I love him and Jesse. They are happy, peaceful, kind, respectful. Just to watch their video makes me happy. Yes, after watching this video, I will eat more plant food and fermented food to have more good bacteria in my gut. Wisdom, knowledge are precious. Thank you. This is my favorite channel.

Is there a way to add fermented foods if you have histamine intolerance? I would have heart palpitations and insomnia if I tried to incorporate them into my diet.

For some reason this didn’t work for me. It caused a lot of smelly gas and then caused visible malabsorption- where I could see the plants in my stool. I was also taking candida killing supplements at the time, it may have been too much. Now I’m trying carnivore.
@panamafred1 Жыл бұрын
Carnivore does it for me. Thirteen-months now. No more constipation, no more stinky farts. And the candida that I suffered with since 2010 is now completely gone. The trick with Carnivore for me was to get the fat/protein balance right. When it's right, the entire mouth-to- butt works perfectly. BTW, I used to make my own fermented foods and thought they were good for me. Never again! Good luck.

Dr. Bulsiewicz bases his argument against the carnivore diet based on his assumption that all meats are factory farmed and filled with antibiotics which hurt the microbiome. But what about someone eating meats without added antibiotics from cows raised using regenerative agriculture, eating a 100% grass-fed diet, raised on soils with its own healthy microbiome without the addition of synthetic fertilizers? How would he compare that diet to a plant based diet full of produce raised on dead soils with synthetic fertilizers sprayed with pesticides and glyphosate? I don't think that would be a fair comparison either. My suspicion is the truth may lie somewhere in the middle and the key may be that a healthy diet comprised of naturally healthy meats, animal fats, and plant fibers all using pesticide/antibiotic free regenerative farming practices is the key . Dr. Bulsiewicz may or may not correct in his fiber hypothesis, but he loses credibility with me in how he is cherry picking his examples. That raises too much of a red flag. He suggests people healing from the carnivore diet are healing because they eliminated processed foods. But what about those people who were not eating processed foods and were eating a high plant diet and still could not heal? What about people like Michaela Peterson? One cannot deny how she and others are thriving on an all meat diet. The fact that some people cannot heal on a plant based diet and some cannot heal on a meat based diet alone, tells me both sides are still missing a key piece of the puzzle. He likes to talk about the Hadza and the diversity of plants they eat. Yet he neglects to mention that the Hadzas like to eat a lot of meat and organ meats. The carnivore based doctors use the Hadzas as an example of a meat eating based population. Something is not adding up here.

One huge conflict in his theory about eating a lot of diversity in plants and that is most animals on the planet eat a very narrow diet. We are not the only omnivore but even other primate omnivores eat a pretty narrow because of where they live and what plants are available. I absolutely support eating plants for gut health but do not think it needs to be radically diverse, it should largely be what would be available where you live if you had to grow and store year round during specific times of the year.

Thuth is , no one knows the truth. I don't believe we all need the same diet, if we did, we would not be "sooooo different from each other, " ,different blood type, hair color, eye color, skin color, hair type, body shape, think different, act different, why should we all need the same foods?? Different parts the globe grows different foods that each community have been eating as their basic past on from their grandparents, grand grandparent....so, people born in Canada dont really need to eat mangoes that doesn't grow in Canada. Maybe all the diversity or none could be the big problem now days. If you try to fix . My dad is 90 in great health, he NEVER eat greens, the only vegetables in his diet is pumpkin, cassava roots and potatoes, plus the base wich is white rice, beans and meats. I follow the same diet but same extra vegetables
