For many years people have asked me to talk about 52 BLOCKS-is it effective, is it from Egypt? Those questions and answers are not important to me. I want to, for the first time, show what the difference is between 52 BLOCKS and the ORIGINAL JAILHOUSE ROCK BOXING style used in the EAST COAST URBAN areas. I was taught this system my the best JAILHOUSE BOXER in my hometown. The style is much like a BARE KNUCKLE PHILLY SHELL that uses angles, slick punching varieties and spins to get to the enemy's back or side.
As a BONUS to those who sign up for my UPCOMING PATREON PAGE, all SUBSCRIBERS will get JAILHOUSE ROCK 101. In those downloads, you will start right from the beginning, learning how to make a PROPER FIST, The 5 PLACES ON THE HUMAN BODY WHERE the FRONT 5 KNUCKLES FIT perfectly as well as the best way to defend against BARE KNUCKLE PUNCHES. The 5 videos will give you a REAL look at URBAN BARE KNUCKLE the way it was done in the 60's and 70's EAST COAST.
Enjoy, Sayf Carman

The footwork looks tight. The punches come from sneaky angles. I'm thinking this style could work well in restricted spaces such as an alley. Nice, very nice.

He's got strange hands for MMA, always thought he'd make a great boxer. KJ noons vs Diaz is one of the only times I've seen hands like that and noons was a boxer pre UFC. I could see porier being taught this simply through being taught by a boxing coach too. It's become popular because it looks cool and gangster, doesn't imply you'd do fuck all but Kimbo Slice and Tyson used it so it implies some success when pairing with knockout power.

Still trying to get him to come back to the US and NY area to have my back lol. J, I will get that app this week. IA. On the other note, it was time to make the distinction. I have always gotten irritated with the umbrella term that did not fit. JHR was born from boxers who could GYM box, but were too"independent" lol to listen to a manager or designated trainer. Over all, they had good hands and could box with gloves. As YOU well know, when 52 has to slip on gloves, it gets lost against a boxer, because much of the "DVD material" does not translate when punches in bunches are being thrown. Great to see your moniker come through. Much to talk about.

Can 52 techniques be incorporated in a fighting system? I personally use 5 of the blocks for basic punch defense. I believe that’s all that is needed to block basic punches the front and rear skull and bones, front and rear closed door, and uptown. Those block straight punches, hooks, overhands, and can block uppercut if you use skull and bones like the cross armed guard. I’ve also noticed Yoel Romero uses 52 techniques.

I'm 56 and I saw people imitating people doing the jailhouse rock. These immitators would hold their left hand low and I guess they threw Cuban uppercuts or Russian uppercuts or that flip punch (upside-down hammer punch?), but I didn't know that these punches existed back then, so to my untrained eye, I thought it was a bbackfist. Or maybe to their un trained eyes, they thoght it was a backfist and so I saw right?

One black man was given 75 years for driving a GET AWAY CAR in a robbery that involved a gun, but no one was shot! That 75 years was a CRIME itself and what makes it so bad is that none of these fake black lawyers are doing a damn thing about it!
