This is a notification for everyone who is watching this for the first time: Takahata101, the player of Borky the Orky, had gotten an amazing business opportunity that unfortunately meant he could no longer play in the Unexpectables campaign from this episode on. Nothing bad happened, there was no blowup and rift in the players, he moved on due to an amazing business opportunity. POTENTIAL SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT, BEWARE. As for why Borky left the party in-game, Borky decided that he should focus his efforts on leading the Ork tribes of Alivast, preparing them for the coming fight with the United Clergy of Oren. When Borky is not preparing the tribes, he’s running the Cheesery full time, his dream of running such an establishment becoming a full reality. As for his sword Raunfault, Raunfault would teach Borky all he knows of leading, eventually being given to the human girl Raunfault kidnapped all those years ago as he requested.

@@mauriliobocanegra0935 I know. Since there wasn’t an epilogue out for Borky, I figured I’d write one for him with the information I had. I am not writing for Curt (Takahata101), this is my own interpretation of what Borky did when he left the Unexpectables.

Wanted to say thank you for this post. I was absolutely DREADING this portion of the campaign after seeing the thumbnails change back on Takahata’s channel. Glad to know my favorite Orky is actually okay.

It was incredibly sweet of Christopher Zito, as a DM himself, to check if his in-game idea would unduly inconvenience what MontyGlu has set up. I know some listeners would disagree and argue that a DM should be able to handle any random situation a player can cook up; but I think Zito's thoughtful check-in is a wonderful example of just how much you all have come to trust one another as you play this utterly delightful campaign.

I've done flint knapping (which works with many silicaceous stones, especially including obsidian) and pressure-flaking barbs into obsidian nails takes time and effort.

Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. I’m not trying to antagonize anyone, I’m a fan just like you. Nit-Picks: 1:07:18 : Because Remy is entering the cube’s space, he’d have disadvantage on the saving throw. 1:07:37 : If Panic wishes to pull Remy out of the cube, he’d have to make a successful DC 12 Strength check and take 3d6 acid damage in the process. 1:14:04 : A Strength check is required to escape the cube, not a Dex save. 1:14:30 : Because escaping the cube takes an action, Remy wouldn’t be able to attack without using action surge. Also, Merchant used up an entire question just to correct Panic’s wording, inspiring.
