Hi, With regard to the Onana topic, He won't miss the December games, the qualifiers are for a tournament that is a curtain raiser for the major tournament. That curtain raiser tournament is for only the African based players. Players playing outside of Africa cannot be part of it. (the tournament is called CHAN and the major tournament is called AFCON)

CAF has two separate AFCON tournaments, the regular one which Cameroon has already qualified for and a 2nd AFCON tournament participated by players playing in domestic African leagues. So, Onana will not be required to go and play in the “local AFON” as it’s popularly referred to.

Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Rashford, Luke Shaw, Dalot, these are the core Man UTD players who have been here for years sacking managers left right and center. Had to laugh, someone replied to me saying that Casemiro has been Utd's best player and that ETH done him dirty. He has one good game under Van Nistelrooy. He has a good season under ETH. Yet ETH was the problem. Now Amorim is alleged to have said these players lack intensity, presumably including Casemiro. This leads to the cycle of sacking managers every 2-3 years because fans defend players rather than managers.

They’re partially correct. ETH’s system requires midfielders with an incredible engine, often leaving them exposed. Just look at how isolated Mainoo was on Liverpool's third goal when we lost 3-0- that's down to tactics. Elite managers get the best out of their players.

Well cant agree more it was so obvious in the pitch they were not consistent, they were set up to win those, games against Crystal palace, Twente, Porto, Aston villa, Fenerbache and West Ham all meant to win but in the end they just let the manager down, they switch off when they need to run more. We said LVG was the issue we sacked him, We said Mourinho was the issue and we sacked him as well, We said Ole was the issue we sacked him as usual , Now ETH was the issue we do sacked him as well like we done for others but players are there still smiling. Those ex Ajax players except Anthony was the ones saved most our game this season, look at Onana top the clean sheet. Our captain is not a leader at all.

Luke shaw had the potential to be that good when he was young, but because of his injuries and stuff he did not develop into one. So people who say he is the guy are just the ones who are stuck in the past. He is not that player anymore. Now he can be a solid left sided ball playing CB and very consistent one too. Utd should be looking at younger players for that role right now. Young Wingers good with the ball, make them play that position and use their youth and energy to bomb up and down the pitch. I am sure there will be one or two who can be a revelation for the team.

Onana won't play in that game. Africa Nations Championship is different from AFCON. It is a tournament contested only by players based on the African continent and islands. Players who play abroad are not involved.

No Mark. There is the AFCON and CHAN. AFCON is open to all African players of Nations that have qualified for the tournament (foreign and domestic). CHAN on the other hand is for African players who ply their trade in their countries’ local leagues. These two are different tournaments. Onana can only play in the AFCON and not CHAN.
