American League of Professional Football was the first professional soccer league in the United States, existing for one season in 1894. It was also one of the earliest professional leagues in the world. It was created by the owners of the National League of Professional Baseball Clubs, partly to fill their dormant stadiums in the winter months and partly for publicity reasons to keep their baseball seasons visible to the public during the off-season. Philadelphia Phillies manager Arthur Irwin organized and served as manager of the league.[1] The 1894 schedule included six teams sponsored by National League teams that played a total of 23 games. The league's inaugural game was played at Philadelphia Ball Park on October 6, 1894. 500 fans saw New York defeat Philadelphia 5 to 0.[2] Although the club owners encouraged attendance by setting ticket prices low, typically 25 cents, the turn out was light, averaging about 500 spectators. By comparison, average crowds in the National League that year ranged from as much as about 6,000 to as few as about 600.[3] Baltimore Orioles F.C. regularly attracted crowds as large as 8,000 for some matches. However, other club owners accused Baltimore of illegally employing British players, and U.S. immigration officials soon began to investigate the allegations. At the same time, with rumors circulating that a new baseball league was being formed, the club owners became convinced that the soccer league was a distraction from the serious business of possible competition from a new, rival league. This was combined with a move by the American Football Association to ban players from the ALPF from playing in the AFA. This came as the AFA saw the ALPF encroaching on its territory.[4] The combination of these new competitive pressures and the ongoing immigration investigation scuppered the planned 1895 season and the League itself. Amblyeleotris is a genus of fish in the family Gobiidae found throughout the Indo-Pacific region. This is the largest genus of the shrimp gobies or prawn gobies, so-called because of their symbiotic relationship with certain alpheid shrimps. The shrimp excavates and maintains a burrow used by both animals while the goby, which has far superior eyesight, acts as a lookout for predators. The shrimp maintains almost constant contact with the fish with an antenna. Fossil Amblyeleotris otoliths have been found together with alpheid shrimp remnants from as early as late early Miocene (Burdigalian) suggesting a possible mutualistic association since then.[1] Please enjoy this random insert from Wikipedia.

Butter mochi is a cake made from coconut milk, glutinous rice flour (mochiko), and butter and is a popular dessert in Hawaiian cuisine. Butter mochi combines textures and flavors of its two main influences, mochi and cake. It features a similar chewy ("Q") texture as mochi,[1] but less pronounced through the addition of traditional cake ingredients such as eggs and butter as well as leavening introduced via baking powder.[2] Unlike other mochi, Butter mochi is baked rather than steamed,[2] lending it a color and texture comparable to blondies and chess pie.[1] The exact origins of butter mochi are unknown. As its primary ingredient, glutinous rice flour, is commonly used in Japan, it is potentially influenced by Japanese immigration to Hawaii, making it a part of fusion cuisine. It can also be considered a descendant of bibingka, a similar cake from Filipino cuisine.[3][4] Please enjoy this random insert from Wikipedia.

For the digging issue you could try taking any metal wire fence material 2-3 feet wide and laying it flat on the ground right up to where the bottom your fence meets the ground. If you can even push the wire fence material past the bottom of you fence a little bit to the other side that's better. Be sure to thoroughly stake it to the ground. The dogs can't dig through it and eventually the grass will grow through it and make it very secure to the ground. Hope that helps!

We used chicken fence cut into about 1 foot strips stapled to the bottom of the fence in almost an L shape and then cover it with dirt. When they dig they will hit it with their paws and be uncomfortable. The fence could possible deteriorate after years but once they try and fail once they should stop. Also they may smell something on the other side. If you find it you take away the urge.

Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings is a British children's animated series about the adventures of a young boy named Simon, who has a magic blackboard.[1] Things that Simon draws on the chalkboard become real in the Land of Chalk Drawings, which Simon can enter by climbing over a fence near his home with a ladder. The stories often revolve around the unintended effects that Simon's drawings have on the Land of Chalk Drawings, such as when an upset Simon draws a picture of his angry self, which goes on a rampage. The programme is based upon a series of four children's books by Edward McLachlan. It was produced in the mid-1970s by FilmFair Productions in London for Thames Television, and was originally a five-minute programme, broadcast around tea time in Britain. It also became familiar to American audiences in the mid-1970s when it was featured on Captain Kangaroo (where it was narrated by Bob Keeshan instead of Bernard Cribbins), later on Pinwheel, and after that, on Romper Room. In Canada, it aired on TVOntario. The performer of the theme song is unknown, as his/her name is not mentioned in the credits. In 2002 the series was remade in Canada, with Ernie Coombs as the narrator. The series was later parodied on NBC's Saturday Night Live by Mike Myers.[4] The sketches open with the same musical theme and lyrics, but take place in Simon's bathtub, where he shows and discusses his "drawerings" with viewers. The James B. Sheffield Olympic Skating Rink is an outdoor artificial ice track for speed skating in Lake Placid, New York, United States (US). It hosted the speed skating events at the 1932 (plus six of twelve ice hockey matches) and 1980 Winter Olympics. In the interim, it hosted Lake Placid High School football games.[1] The rink, which is located in the same area as Lake Placid High School, was built outdoors as a skating rink for 1932 Winter Olympics. Besides "speed drills", the arena was also used for the Olympics opening and closing ceremonies, the starting- and end-point for cross-country skiing events and dog racing (demonstration branch), and ice hockey matches. The Tribune section of the rink was capable of accommodating 7,500 spectators and was demolished following the end of the Winter Olympics.[2] Two weeks after the 1932 Olympics, the 1932 World Allround Speed Skating Championship was held at the rink and the venue was subsequently reused for other sports. International skating competitions have not been held at the rink since the Olympics. When the city was awarded the 1980 Winter Olympics in October 1974,[3] a artificial and more modern ice track was being constructed (which opened in late-fall 1977). The first international championship to be held at the new rink was the 1978 World Sprint Speed Skating Championship for women and men. During the 1980 Winter Olympics, Eric Heiden won five gold medals and set a world record in the 10,000-meter event, with a time of 14.28,13-the only world record to have been achieved at the rink.[4] The 1989 World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women were the last world's championships held there. Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett (24 November 1849 - 29 October 1924) was a British-American novelist and playwright. She is best known for the three children's novels Little Lord Fauntleroy (published in 1885-1886), A Little Princess (1905), and The Secret Garden (1911). Frances Eliza Hodgson was born in Cheetham, Manchester, England. After her father died in 1853, when Frances was 4 years old, the family fell on straitened circumstances and in 1865 emigrated to the United States, settling in New Market, Tennessee. Frances began her remunerative writing career there at age 19 to help earn money for the family, publishing stories in magazines. In 1870, her mother died. In Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1873 she married Swan Burnett, who became a medical doctor. Their first son Lionel was born a year later. The Burnetts lived for two years in Paris, where their second son Vivian was born, before returning to the United States to live in Washington, D.C. Burnett then began to write novels, the first of which (That Lass o' Lowrie's), was published to good reviews. Little Lord Fauntleroy was published in 1886 and made her a popular writer of children's fiction, although her romantic adult novels written in the 1890s were also popular. She wrote and helped to produce stage versions of Little Lord Fauntleroy and A Little Princess. Beginning in the 1880s, Burnett began to travel to England frequently and in the 1890s bought a home there, where she wrote The Secret Garden. Her elder son, Lionel, died of tuberculosis in 1890, which caused a relapse of the depression she had struggled with for much of her life. She divorced Swan Burnett in 1898, married Stephen Townsend in 1900, and divorced him in 1902. A few years later she settled in Nassau County, New York, where she died in 1924 and is buried in Roslyn Cemetery. In 1936, a memorial sculpture by Bessie Potter Vonnoh was erected in her honor in Central Park's Conservatory Garden. The statue depicts her two famous Secret Garden characters, Mary and Dickon. @@MostFurriesarenotZoophiles Sure, anything for my loyal fans The 7th Panzer Division was an armored formation of the German Army in World War II. It participated in the Battle of France, the invasion of the Soviet Union, the occupation of Vichy France, and on the Eastern Front until the end of the war. The 7th Panzer Division is also known by its nickname, Ghost Division.[1] The division met with great success in France in 1940 and then again in the Soviet Union in 1941.[2] In May 1942, the division was withdrawn from the Soviet Union and sent back to France to replace losses and refit. It returned to Southern Russia following the defeat at Stalingrad, and helped to check a general collapse of the front in a series of defensive battles as part of Army Group Don, and participated in General Erich von Manstein's counterattack at Kharkov.[3] The division fought in the unsuccessful offensive at Kursk in the summer of 1943, suffering heavy losses in men and equipment and was further degraded in the subsequent Soviet counteroffensive.[N 1] Through 1944 and 1945, the division was markedly understrength and continuously engaged in a series of defensive battles across the eastern front. It was twice evacuated by sea, leaving what was left of its heavy equipment behind each time. After fighting defensively across Prussia and Northern Germany, the surviving men escaped into the forest and surrendered to the British Army northwest of Berlin in May 1945. Following the completion of the invasion of Poland, the limited effectiveness of the light divisions caused the Oberkommando des Heeres (OKH; German High Command) to order the reorganization of the four light divisions into full panzer divisions. In October 1939, the 2nd Light Division became the 7th Panzer Division, one of Germany's ten armoured divisions. It consisted of 218 tanks in three battalions, with two rifle regiments, a motorcycle battalion, an engineer battalion, and an anti-tank battalion.[5] Newly promoted General Erwin Rommel, who had served on [REDACTED GERMAN LEADER]’s staff during the Invasion of Poland, was able to, with an intervention from [REDACTED GERMAN LEADER], obtain the command of the division.[6] Upon taking command on 10 February 1940, Rommel quickly set his unit to practicing the maneuvers they would need in the upcoming campaign.[7][8] I would do more but i’d have to go edit the text to remove “his” name so my comment isn’t blocked, but it’s time consuming

For the fencing, you could take some wire fence like chicken wire and staple it to the wood fence, then lay it along the gap at the bottom of the fence to cover the dirt, but you'll have to bury it or hold it down somehow to prevent the dogs from just digging that up too. You'd have to do your entire fence line as well, but this would also prevent all your animals from digging out if that ever becomes an issue with the pigs etc.
@Exothermic_Killer
@Exothermic_Killer Жыл бұрын
Hi Ben, I think a good way to stop dogs from digging is to have a barrier of 12+ inch stakes at the base of the fence. They're not super expensive if you just buy generic yard stakes and you only need one every foot or so in the area you're worried about.

you need to use chicken wire. Staple it on the lower part of the fence, then dig down a few feet, roll the wire down into the hole so that it will lay down to the bottom like an "L". Fill in the hole with a dirt concrete mix and if they do dig they will only get to wire and concrete. This is what we had to do with our dog run because they were diggers too.

To be honest, your personality was a lot, and I wasn't sure could watch this on a regular basis...but the more I've seen, the more I'm curious and wanna check in on the progress. So many interesting animals, I'm totally jealous. I'm sure it's a lot of work, a full-time job in itself, but the connection to animals and taking care of them, it's really amazing. I dunno how you have time to film as often as you do! Kevin is exhausting, but I get it. Had the nastiest little Roo, that raised from egg. And he was like 2x bigger than normal chicken. He was a beast, and after adolescence , decided he hated me. Got to the point I had to slap/block that bird multiple times a day. He really messed me up a couple times. Always made me feel bad to be aggressive, but he always bounced back, and I wasn't crazy about it (like some repulsive, stomach turning, how can you treat another living creature that way? - stories I've heard from others who have kept chickens). Anyways, Kevin can likely do some insane damage, you handle it well. The SWAT shield is perfect, and necessary with that dingdong. My fighting chicken, was ironically the biggest silkie Roo, he was cloud white (looked like a fantasy animal on a foggy morning, out the in the woods--like a weird little unicorn). His name was Marshmallow, mind you his name was before he became a violent little turd. Fox got him one day. Such is circle of life. Doubt you will ever read this monstrosity of a comment, but if you do, just want you to know, what you're doing for these animals matters; even if it's just love, and temporary. PS. Taxidermy owls are something wild, especially their skeletons...they got the strangest structure. Check it out.

Did this man make capybaras popular? If he has a antelope and kangaroo, that’s gonna take a lot of attention off unnecessary killing, and turning them into pets which I’m a big fan of what is doing is really gods work cause I’m sure it’s been super expensive and insane but he continues to help these animals because he must truly get some reward deep inside for caring for these hopeless animals. It’s truly beautiful and very entertaining to watch is super funny and just cute with his animals.😂❤

Honestly, it's a two-way street when it comes to encouraging people to own non-tame animals, especially from climates unlike their current living climate. Alot of people who have picked up Clappies have been pretty clueless as to how to treat and house them, so they treat them like dogs or cats, which isn't right and depriving them of things like a swimming hole or free range stress them out and shortens their lives. People just need to take the responsibilities of animal ownership seriously and understand the animals they choose to own and how they live and eat.
@mysticmandy8352
@mysticmandy8352 10 ай бұрын
@@toilet_cleaner_man yeah, that goes for the same argument I believe for any animals in captivity’s, including zoos and exhibits some people believe that the animal should be wild in the natural habitat but unfortunately the way the world is men are cutting down wildlife forests that are their ecosystem, and there is no place to host them I also believe it’s important to have some animals in captivity treated very well because it’s already been proven that animals in captivity start to become more intelligent and communicate behaviors similar to humans

Kapil Ashram ( Sanskrit : कपिल आश्रम ) was a Hindu monastery of the Vedic sage Kapila. He is the author of Shankhya Shastra of Ancient Indian philosophy. It is located at Kakraul village of Rahika block in Madhubani district of Mithila region of Bihar.[1][2] It is believed that the Vedic sage Kapila was the devotee of Lord Shiva. He established Shivlinga at the Kakraul village known as Kapileshwar Sthan. There was an Ashram of Kapila where he developed and wrote the Shankhya Shastra of the Indian philosophy. There he taught his Shankhya Shastra to his disciples for many years. Seerdhawaja Janaka the king of Mithila also came here to study the Shankhya Shastra from the Vedic sage Kapila.[3][4] This is the attractive tourist destination for Hindu pilgrims in the Mithila region. Hindu devotees from different parts of the district and the entire Mithila come here to worship the Shivlinga of the Kapileshwar Sthan temple.[5][6] Please enjoy this random insert from Wikipedia.
