Literally the only croc I've seen that looked that bad was one that had already been dead for a few days, I really hope the little guy recovers. Considering Ben edits these slightly ahead of time and he still put the footage in I want to assume he's doing better.

I've seen some pretty rough looking ones on Snake Discovery, they have a thing where people drop animals in and they often received them in pretty bad conditions, they work on getting them healthy again so they can adopt them out to responsible owners.

@@moniquethomas7601 it sucks but at least it has shrunk. I'm not sure if the vets really have an understanding of what's going on. one of them said a hernia and one said a tumor. I didn't think tumors would respond to antibiotics. whatever it is, I hope it gets sorted soon.

Hey Uncle Ben, I recommend covering the sides and back of the croc's enclosure with something like a fish tank background so it can feel safer and more hidden to reduce stress. Its something that people do with many other reptiles :)

I hope you can bring that croc back from the brink! @Snake Discovery is a really cool channel and they have a really stunted crocodilian who pulled through and is my favorite reptile from their channel. Might get a specialty vet to see if any of the missing teeth are impacted on the inside because normally they grow back if they lose them but they might be ingrown :( Good luck Ben

Big Ounce is an anomaly among Prairie Dogs. Glad to hear he’s doing a lot better and didn’t need surgery. Also the Morlett’s Crocodile I’m sure will have some of Big Ounce’s healing powers blessed upon it. Now that it’s alone and away from the Nile Croc it was kept with, it should do better now that it doesn’t have to compete for food. Glad to hear it’s going to a sanctuary when it’s bigger.

So glad you got that croc, Uncle Ben, he probably wouldn’t have made it much longer where he was. I’ve had Texas longhorns my whole childhood and they probably would make a great addition to your farm. They are heavy duty grass eaters and as long as you get cows (which still have horns and get plenty big!) they are pretty calm. So long as they don’t have calves to protect
