@nash113925 жыл бұрын
I think this is what is happening here. There could be two layers of content moderation: AI and human moderators. Music can be easily and reliably identified via algorithms once registered, so those gets zucced right off the bat and it probably never come across a human moderator at all. User-generated content on the other hand (like these "choking babies" videos) cannot be detected by AI and thus passes through AI filtering and gets served to human moderators, who then have to do the legwork. My guess is once something problematic is deemed to be popping up frequently enough, these too are registered into the "content ID" system so that the AI can filter them, but (also my guess) they couldn't do it to all problematic videos since each one of those costs storage and processing power. But these are just my theory.

We managed to get one site down and another one is being investigated. All of us are doing this for free and it forces us to watch these animal abuse videos all the time as we're gathering evidence we need screenshots a various parts. Anyway I understand how mentally anguishing this can be and I myself am probably going to stop doing it after the two websites that I'm currently working on. I also understand how little the Facebook corporation cares about it in general because this all started from Instagram and all the reports of animal abuse we filed many of which came back stating "this does not violate our policies" as you know Instagram is owned by Facebook.

They are not necessarily evil, they just can't feel empathy. They are better suited for doing things us normal humans are too weak to do since it causes emotional disturbance. They cannot feel true sadness or happiness, they just do what's best for themselves and often that involves treating others right (unless they have a good reason not to). Some of them might enjoy these videos, some might not. But if they are being controlled like the people in the video (with the accuracy scores), they can't just approve of the horrible videos. Very much so! Amazing insight in the hearts and minds of people who are living a more prosporous, more sheltered and safer life as any person around the world - as any person in the entire existence of the species. Zero awareness. Just nonstop whining about victimhood.

@@rnindless thats a question i cant answer but theres a famous AI that already wants to find love so she can feel love and have a family. But realistically, there is no lead on the research to make A.I feel emotions. But I recall seeing a TED talk on A.I potentially detecting emotions. Notice the face recognition software on your phone, tablet or desktop? Yes, that, but with recognizing emotions. If A.I can recognize for example, the anger in some kind of violent abuser’s face while seeing the pain of a victim, that can get automatically banned. I hope the engineers with it can figure it out though. The programs that can identify programs are still in the works. Want to save people from drowning? Have a video camera that can recognize it. Want to find some survivors after an earthquake? Send some flying drones with cameras to look for them. Ultimate possibilities, really.

This sounds like one of the hardest jobs ever. To see all that suffering and feel there is nothing you can do to help. There are other difficult jobs where you see a lot of suffering (eg: EMT, Firefighter, veterinarian, social worker) but at least in those jobs you have the feeling that you are helping. This would destroy my soul :(
