New news from the commonwealth... There have been reported sightings of a heavily-armed, advanced power armor wearing gang calling themselves "The enclave". Not much is known about them, beyond a few clues found in burned out settlements with no known survivors, after the "enclave" visited.... Oh.... WE'RE ALL GUNNA DIE! ...or maybe not. Rumor is that The vault dweller may actually be hunting THEM! The vault dweller was spotted recently by Diamond City security, wearing power armor that, according to the witness, he has "never seen anything like it."

the whole song is far ahead of it's time. So far ahead that no one wanted to do it in 1960. They were afraid of the lyrics, Dion recorded it at the last minute and still was not sure about it. Of course it became the B side of " The Majestik" but not for long.

@@catholiccowboy8545 Had no idea the lyrics caused any kind of an uproar. They played this tune all the time on my TOP 50 am station WHK 1420 from Cleveland, Ohio. Now, nowadays one probably could not get airplay from all the censors/woke has entered our society in every thing.. I played the heck out of this tune and recall didn't care for the flip side at all. Maybe I'll give it more listens. Had no idea that's the side that was pegged for the "A" side!! Thanks for that info!!
@catholiccowboy8545 Жыл бұрын
@@brucetowell3432 Since the djs picked "The Wanderer " who was the B side it proves the uproar came only from the owners of the record company. Soon they changed it to a "A" side. (However, on Maresca's original demo of the song, the lyrics were "with my two fists of iron and my bottle of beer", and the change to "with my two fists of iron but I'm going nowhere" in fact seems to have been at the record company's insistence.). There's the 1959 original demo by the composer E. Maresca : kzbin.info/www/bejne/ep-shHaOedF-ZpI But actually the 2 sides + the recording + the musicians for that date made it special. It sounds ahead of it's time who was 1962. Me for myself i like "The Majestik" as much as "The Wanderer". I bought that single in Montreal in 1962 for $0,99 and i still own it and still love it.
