The current administration continued some of the policies that the previous administration implemented. That’s been a part of the problem. The trump administration coasted off of Obama’s policies for the first two years, then when Trump’s policies kicked in in the third and fourth year it all went to crap, and when you add a pandemic on top of that( that was mishandled), with the greed of corporations that inflated prices and kept them that way long after the pandemic was over because they were used to the gains they were getting, you have the current situation we’re now in. Harris wanted to put a cap on corporations taking advantage of working people.

The implication here is that having a college degree automatically makes you smarter, morally better, and provides your vote with more weight. They are basically saying "folks that are college educated are right about everything, and the rest of the country would have followed this trend if they were smarter." There are many reasons that people with college degrees might have voted they way the did, and none of them have to do with intelligence. Universities and academics are historically more liberal. That doesnt automatically make them right. The whole argument is starting from the foundation that "voting democrat is right, voting Republican is wrong." and all evidence shown is confirmation bias supporting that. It's logically unsound.

One thing Sonny doesnt seem to understand when she says that the numbers show this or that. We need to consider all possible statistics to make a conclusion. You have to consider age groups, number of people in poverty and other categories. In the US there are about 8 million black people in poverty and about 22 million white people in poverty. If the majority of people in poverty voted for Trump 2/3 would be white voters and thats not racism. Thats just the numbers of people in poverty. College educated people may vote for Kamala because they want their student loans paid off. That issue might rank high along with inflation. The uneducated people dont have student loans. As a Bill Maher fan, if more liberals and democrats had been watching his show over the past four years, we probably would have won. The left has dominated the political and media (both news and entertainment) landscapes with never ending lecturing on race, gender, and other social issues. Often people do not feel as they can push back without being called bigot of some sort while their economic situation is overlooked.

I'm a white male and I voted for Kamala Harris but I also have issues with immigrants getting assistance. I have been homeless for short periods of time 3 times in my life. I had to sleep on park benches or spend my entire check on a motel room and walk or hitch hike to work. Through all that I couldn't get any assistance, no Medicare, no food stamps, I got nothing. There is something wrong with who gets help and who doesn't.
