The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

Did anyone catch Phil. 3:18???? Christ is weeping, why? For those who hate Christ and Cross.... so then who are we to not love our enemies as ourselves. I'm really struggling on that and I love in a very small town where I've carved a line in lime stone with my enemies. Please pray that God would rectify that. That i might witness through actions. I agree in the fact we look at the fruit and not blindly be led. I also agree we should stand up against injustice in all situations. I personally will not vote a party that promotes and pays for murdering babies or pushing Kingdom citizens in the closet. I will not vote for a party who voted and won to take God out of the party (then leadership overruled them). I personally don't care for either presidential candidate but I will NOT vote for the one who will fund or further push murdering babies. And I will NOT apologize for God's Word! So for me there is no options but one. And I voted early!!

Similarly, I will not vote for a candidate who consistently pronounces blatant hatred and insults over others. I will not vote for a candidate who directly claims to be above repentance, all while pretending to uphold a book that is built upon repentance. I will not vote for a man who is unwilling to express sympathy or to admit mistakes. Combine this with your own point of view and maybe we'll begin to see why our hope is not found in the white house, but in Jesus

You're correct. Socialism is entirely incompatible with God's truth. It is focused on groups, framing everything as "oppressed vs. oppressor," while God cares for the individual, and commands INDIVIDUAL generosity. Socialism is also fundamentally based on greed / theft, not generosity. It is "forced generosity," which Jesus would certainly rebuke. How much does the bible speak about how despised tax collectors were? God seeks transformation of the heart, not to redistribute wealth through the power of the state.

Based upon the fact that 'Jesus is Lord' leads us to conclude that when all politically/culturally are placed in the balance, we must chose pro-life. There is no other choice for the child of God. Am I wrong here?

Nope! We're in a spooky, disappointing age where for some reason church leaders are unwilling to LEAD and stand on God's word. Truly bizarre. They are willing to tell you how to apply God's word to your life every Sunday of the year, but when it comes to 60 million dead children, silence.

Rome also has a habit of killing infants by the hundreds - if you recall the situation of Jesus' own birth. Yet Jesus didn't spend his life condemning Rome for the horrors they committed and would continue to commit. Instead, he became the target of some such horrors as he died. I am as pro-life as they come, but Jesus did not come to change legislature, nor does it seem to be what he asks of us

So his primary question about "how someone can be all in on a party" is not terribly complex, with even a cursory look at the underlying principles of liberalism. The progressive, liberal worldview is rooted in the following beliefs: 1) Truth is subjective, and evolves as society evolves ("progress"). 2) Man is inherently good, or at least neutral, and therefore, mankind is naturally headed towards good, without need of an objective moral authority outside of man. 3) Man's suffering is the result of other men, or society around them. ("Oppressed vs. Oppressor.") These are all wildly unbiblical views, and ought to be rejected and rebuked. There is one truth, it is unchanging. Man is "born with an evil nature," and is hopeless and doomed without a savior. Our suffering is the result of our own sin, and cannot be solved by "correcting society." Christians ought to know this, and ought to easily identify that this worldview is entirely incompatible with God's word. Now, conservatism is not perfect, but it is, at a minimum, rooted in some biblically consistent values, based on God's word. So yes, a Christian should not value a political party over being part of the Kingdom, but there is no comparison with regards to which worldview BETTER drives the nation towards Godly values. If you're looking for evidence of this, there are 60 millions dead children resulting from liberal ideology going uncontested for 60 years. And if you value black lives, there were more black people aborted than born in NY last year. Politics matter, and God's people ought to use the tools and systems available to us to protect the weak. We're commanded to do so, after all.
