I was a working RN in the USA for almost 46 years( retired 3/22 ). Catherine looked gorgeous but thinner, tired, and fragile at Trooping the Colors. I’m sure she was nervous as was William about her appearance that day. KC was so happy to have her there. What the MSM and the Sussex Squad have put that poor woman through is a horror. I could tell that she was being so careful about her steps into the palace out of the carriage. They also said she wore heels that were more stable to walk on and not stilettos. The fact that the hospital breach was investigated and allegedly traced back to someone in the USA speaks volumes.

The story about Barbara Barnes gave me goosebumps. What a beautiful lady with such incredible maternal instincts. She's right about Harry, too. He was born angry, and he still is. Imagine letting envy and bitterness ruin your life instead of counting your blessings. Being the 'spare' is the better deal by far. Imagine the pressure of being the heir? I know which I'd prefer. Daniela Elsa is a sell-out, and she has to be on the Sussex payroll. Nobody would be able to call Meghan chic and keep a straight face. The woman is a hot mess!!

A scary story (sort of!). Many years ago some friends of mine were looking after the in-laws' pub for the weekend. After closing time on their first night they were having a quiet drink and congratualting themselves on having got through without any problems. Suddenly they heard a rather eerie wailing noise coming from the end of the corridor behind the bar. This was followed by a strange 'splooshing' noise. They went through the 'Did you hear that?' dialogue and tried to decide whether they needed to investigate. A minute later there was an even louder eerie wail followed by another 'sploosh'. They knew there was no one else in the pub which was a very old building in a very old village so they were getting really spooked out. Then it was a case of 'You go and look' 'No you go and look'. Eventually they went down the old dimly lit corridor together and traced the sound to the Ladies toilet. On opening the door they discovered the pub kitten who had fallen into the toilet bowl and was desperately trying to get out.

Too true. And sometimes people just have a bad day. If a meal or an item is actually poorly done, I do send it back - the important thing is to do it in a calm manner and not get either emotional or demanding. If something is not good, but maybe that's a matter of taste, I do sometimes set it off to the side but I don't request anything in replacement or ask for my money back or anything. I find that good places are concerned when you taste an item and just set it aside. That leaves the choice up to them of what kind of customer service they choose to provide. But if something is wrong - the restaurant can't fix what it doesn't know about. And in general, health departments are DEEPLY unsympathetic about places mucking with food quality. I won't say it never happens, but it's a really high-risk piece of trashy behavior. No place can or will condone that behavior.

70 years ago i worked as a telephonist at a travel agent. I mastered 5 lines and 25 extensions. My boss got very cross with me because all the extensions would ring simultaneously and he thought I was messing about. Then one day i wasn't at for a couple of hours as I had an appointment. And in my abscence the same thing would happen, all the phones would ring at the same time. Finally, finally they traced the fault to an electrical cable running down the pipe leading to the toilet tank. So every time someone flushed it sent an electrical impulse to the switchboard and all the phones rang. My boss very graciously apologized. He was 40 then and i thought he was such an old man. How time flies.

About a decade or so ago, renovations were made to the ground floor of a library I worked at. As well as a large staff only work area, it included updating the staff kitchen and dining area as well as upgrades to both male and female bathroom facilities. Not long after all work was completed, one quadrant of this area regularly blacked out completely (lights, computers - everything!) Well, of course I got the blame because I had a small fan heater under my desk. It was soon banished to home. However the problem continued. To cut an already long story short - it was the new hand dryer in the men’s toilets! Every time one of the men used the hand dryer, it cut out all electricity in that quadrant … took them months to figure it out! 😂😂

Be gutsy and not serve the king at all. I can’t imagine not having the royal family and have people like Johnson, truss and Sunak being head of state. The royal family is the only brand that the world still respect in the uk. A few days after the funeral I was changing her diaper while she was laying on the change table. She looked up and over to the corner of the room and said: “Gampa”. She had never said his name before and I remember spinning around to look at the corner. Of course, I didn’t see him. And, as for hoping your Dad watches over you, I hoped the same. It’s interesting to hear that it was observed that Harry was born angry….i have long observed that Harry may suffer from foetal alcohol syndrome…eyes too close together…strange bridge of the nose…short filtrum … lack of empathy…personality problems..holding grudges and inability to learn…either from mistakes or from teaching….remember that 40 years ago this damage in babies was not recognised…and Diana was very unhappy during her pregnancy with him..and probably just had a few social glasses every day…to get through…as a social worker I saw many children of alcoholics (not to say Diana was a recognised alcoholic) ..unable to make good relationships with either foster carers or adopters…the damage is permanent. Now I merely make this observation…it is not a diagnosis…but very odd that he cannot see what we all see in his rampant and unkind lifelong jealousy of his brother…I think that the RF have worked hard to protect him in the past…but now he only has the wife.

If you are basing that diagnosis on H's eyes and nose bridge then you'll have to include KC3 in it also, as he very clearly has the exact same eye/nosebridge arrangement, and both of them probably get it from Prince Philip, because if you look at Philip's uncle Louis Mountbatten, he has it too... Diana was famously anorexic and then bulimic before and during her pregnancy with H, so I doubt she'd have been drinking, but she certainly didn't do her developing foetus any favours, presumably.

Riding in the wrong car happened to me a few months ago. White SUV, looked exactly the same as ours but I was so glued to my phone that I just opened the door and as I entered, realized the difference and I quickly closed the door and screamed for my husband’s name like a lunatic. My husband and kids were laughing about it the whole time as we were driving home 😅

Friends of my sister tended to change cars often, usually old beaters. One day the dad was due to pick up their teenage daughter after school. She saw an old car pull up, got in, and without really looking, said "well, what piece of sh*t are we driving now", looked over...and it wasn't her dad. She started screaming and ran back into the school, with the poor man running after her and yelling "I didn't do anything!".

Those of us who are older still make it the way our mothers and grandmothers did. (I'm Southern and 77 now) Batter is not traditional. We put flour seasoned with salt and pepper in a paper bag & shake damp chicken pieces in the bag to lightly coat them. Then fry. No goopy clumpy coating. No extra seasonings. Just good lightly crisped chicken.

Re the glasses screws story. Many years ago when we had several days in hospital after giving birth half a dozen of us new mums where tentatively sitting on pillows around the meal table when the nurse serving us asked “would anyone like stuffing?” Stunned silence followed by one of us saying “not bloody likely” I can still remember the pain of trying not to laugh too much, it hurt!!

I'm southern and a very good southern cook. The best fried chicken is simple - not all that breading, double dipping. Put flour, pepper and salt into a brown lunch bag then put a few chicken pieces in and shake. After all the chicken is floured, heat oil to 350° in an iron skillet and fry. You want a nice gold color but slowly cook til juicy and done. My mama made it every other Sunday, I made it often when my kids were young. I serve with homemade buttermilk biscuits, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, a vegetable and sliced tomatoes. Dessert is peach cobbler or banana pudding. Typical delicious southern Sunday dinner 😊

As for James cordon-well his show was cancelled in US bc of his attitude …so it is no surprise he wd treat his audience with the contempt that he did and don’t feel sorry for the audience -if they have any knowledge about him-and still went to see him-that’s on them. Hi Shauna A comment made by a lovely who strolled through where the army Veterinary Corp kept their horses reminded me of my late dad. He was sent to England in 1933 to attend the Royal Veterinary college in London as we didn't have a vet school in NZ at the time. He completed his degree and did post graduate work at a practice in the same area as James Herriot. When war broke out he couldn't get home to join the Nz army so joined the British army in the Veterinary Corp and went to Africa and Middle East. I am very proud of him and that he didn't get back to NZ until 1947. He also competed for the British Army in show jumping. The men like my father are the true heroes not snotty little princes or his "no better than she should be" wife a saying my grandmother used to describe undesirable women. Love your gossip before bed

Hi Shauna, I hope you see this post. If you are a fan of Lady Ann Glenconnor, you may well have seen these clips before. I could not stop laughing, and just fell in love with her. She was on the Graham Norton Show, 4 years ago, and she recounted her honeymoon story, and what her mother told her when she went to boarding school. It reminded me of my Mum’s attempt at sex education. Don’t worry if your knickers are a little discoloured at the end of the month!! Needless to say, it was a terrible shock to me when it happened. Thanks again for your great videos. You are simply the best❤

Hi Shauna! I so enjoy all of your content and never miss any of your episodes. I have to share A funny story that occured at my first big job after graduating college. At that time I had very long red hair and so many women in my department upon first meeting them would have the nerve to ask me if my hair was real? Oh yes, I’d say I’ve never colored it. Well, one day I’d had enough and the poor woman who was the last to ask me, if my red hair was real, I responded with, well if I pull my pants down, you’ll know! You should have seen the look on her face. That must’ve gotten around the office toute suite, because nobody asked me after that lol!

Oh Shauna, my husband makes the best fried chicken! We live in South Carolina near his family outside of a small town. We met in my home city when he was in the military and moved here when he left the military. We don’t have it very often but it’s so delicious. He marinates the chicken in a mixture of mild hot sauce and some other things (I can’t divulge his recipe) he shakes the excess moisture off, but doesn’t pat it dry, then dredges it in mixture of self rising flour and seasoning, then fries it in a cast iron pan. Delicious 😋
