True. There was no need to bring up their mothers death and how it affected him at Williams wedding. True. I believe Harry has always been a troubled person. His family has been covering up for him and building up his image. Megxit removed harry from the safety of his family. And, the real harry was revealed. A petulant immature manchild who has used and continues to use his mothers death and his mental health to get what he wanted.

Unfortunately for Harry there is photographic evidence that proves H's recollections of W&C wedding day is incorrect. There is footage of the brothers meeting the crowds the night before, William doesn't appear drunk. On the wedding day W doest look like he has been crying or hung over. William went with H the day before that wedding the day before. As HG Tudor says it's all a revision of history.

William is tremendously handsome in an Irish Guards uniform, it s a beautiful uniform. That would have been his highest rank at the time in any military sense, so the Queen was correct on all fronts. I think some of this points to how terribly dependent Harry was on William, and he probably resents Catherine and the children. My dad was 17 years older than his youngest baby brother (big Catholic family) and my uncle was 13 at the time of my parent's marriage. Their father was very elderly and bed ridden from strokes. There were always funny stories about how my uncle detested my mother at the time of my parents' marriage. But when he came home from Viet Nam when I was very young, he lived with us and my mother and we children helped him heal. The stories of resentment make me laugh, because I only ever saw us as a very close and loving family. That uncle was by my mother's side when she died, praying for her.

I'm the oldest of 4 siblings and now in my 60s. I remember so much of our growing up that my younger brother does not. as a family - like many families the world over, we have had our fallings out and making up. With age comes a great deal of insight and hopefully wisdom. I love my siblings. Have we had major disagreements lasting into years. YES. Have we moved passed them. Mostly. Do we still speak - 3 of us do and the other one is slowly coming back. MY take on all of this. ITS LIFE. We need to get on with it. In the case of the royal family its difficult because it is played out so publically, but with age should come wisdom. Harry is a fool but sadly, I'm not convinced he will realise what an idiot he has been. My family is relatively normal - or at least no sense of narcissim etc. As for m, she is very dangerous IMO because she really isn't in any sense normal.

Not to mention making fun of her because her fella isn't proposing. That's why I get annoyed with Mrs Harry talking about the hard time she had. Even their 'pap' pictures looked different. Imo, H has always been about himself. Not even his mother could curve his innate arrogance, entitlement and self-promotion. It is no longer about any trauma caused by his mother's death, it really is just the true nature of his person. When my young adult children were in their teens, our advice had been "you're both at the ages where you know what is right and what is wrong. You have the free will to decide for yourselves but you can no longer blame our parenting for whatever dire consequences your decisions bring you. If we made mistakes and you know they were mistakes, it is your decision to wallow in it or rise above it."

Such good advice. I didn't as such get that but at some point I became aware that my parents did what they thought was best in their eyes. I had a look at their upbringing to give me as sense of where they where coming from, which lead me to also look at my grandparents and what they went through. As adults we all do in most cases the best at the time that makes sense to us. We as individuals would gain a lot to understand this and to understand where we are; to accept that things are not always perfect and learn from that. Life is not perfect. We need to see and learn and hopefully grow wiser. Of course this does require some effort, and never stops until our last breath.

Very insightful pick up. And you are right about how it's invariably all about him. Another example is when the Queen passed and the family dash to Belmoral. I found myself reliving that day and getting angry all over again with how Harry overshadowed those immediate 24 hrs with his own storyline that he had manipulated to some degree whether knowingly or not. First Scobie released their travel arrangements vs the Palace handling it. Then he argued with his grieving father about Meghan not seeming to care about his fathers loss. Then as we know the plane debacle. Followed by refusing the dinner invite from his father and then he left before breakfast... the 24hrs was all about Harry. And then he did his best to do the same at the funeral. Just a quick point on childhood trauma as its something I know about. It's true it does lock you in and it often stunts your emotional growth. However that does not remove your commonsense, your thoughtfulness. You don't get a lobotomy and for him to make every family occasion public or not about himself, speaks more to the other aspects of his personality vs being traumatized by his mothers death. He is a spoilt, childish man-child who has a deeply cruel streak in him. And that's what I am realizing is that cruel aspect to him. I haven't looked at him the same since the Oprah interview where he allowed so many lies and embellishments to breath.

It shows why William and Catherine were so concerned about Harry's mental health. They must have been struggling with trying to help him with his " issues" for years. I believe this is also the reason why their hurt and anger at Harry turning on them in such a blatant and public way is so deep. The Army also would not have been able to promote or keep in their ranks someone with longterm mental health issues. On top of his very deficient academic abilities which meant he not only failed required examinations he possibly failed the mental health standards..Harry did not want to leave the army. He was let go by the army on the grounds he could not meet the academic standards for promotion. Markle will not be having an easy time of it dealing with Harry. Is this why she moved her mother into the house at an early stage.

No doubt. She & Doria keep a tight psychological/emotional hold/control over him. Meghan manipulated him so well and got him into the position of where he is today, which is a man not in control of his own life.

I agree with you Shawna. Harry had no business bringing up Diana's death at the wedding reception. He could just have easily spoken of their mom and their good times and how much she would have enjoyed the wedding and would have been so happy for William and Catherine and left it at that. It shows that he's wandering through his life very bitter and with his head in the sand. It is a real shame because Harry could have amounted to something great.

EXTREMELY intuitive you are spot on with Harry …he’s chosen to be a “pain” for years ! Only propped up by the firm … and perhaps they were getting tired , and hence he got away with such a short engagement to such a “dodgy choice” But he’s completely imploded and their efforts sadly gone to ash !

Sparry has problems. He has had problems since he was very little. He was angry with Princess Diana on the vacation with Dodi and his family. He was fighting with Dodis kids and causing problems. The night that she died, she called to chat with her boys. Sparry refused to speak with her. Had Princess Diana lived, Sparry would be blaming her for his miserable life. The only reason why people liked him prior to his wedding was because Buckingham Palace ran block and protected his image. He was also protected by the British Embassy while in America. He was out of line multiple times! The amount of drugs and mind altering substances that he has written about in that book and the taped show is staggering!! He stated that Doria gave him a shopping bag full of marijuana. He wrote and stated that he smoked it all in a weekend! He approached his family stating that he has taken the mushrooms during his counseling sessions. He stated that to move forward that they were to all take the mushrooms and attend counseling sessions with him. They refused of course. Sparry is the problem. Sparry has always been the problem. Sparry was the problem while Princess Diana was alive and she mishandled his behavior. His problems did not start because she died. His problems were always there. Listen and watch Princess Diana speak about his behavior when he was very young compared to how she spoke about Prince William. The horrible behavior was then reinforced after she died by everyone feeling sorry for him. They made allowances for him and continued to let him get away with being a bully and a brat! Then Prince Charles was off working and not very attentive to notice sparrys disturbing behavior. There are photos of him during his teenage years with 4 grown men around him trying to corral him into the car to take him home. Then Prince Charles did not know what to do. Yes, the bodyguards took him home but his behavior only got worse. Buckingham Palace covered to the extent that the British People adored him. The image presented to the public was not Sparry. What people see today is the same person that he was a child. That woman whispered in his ear that there was gold in California and all that they needed to do was to reject his family and he would be as powerful as Oprah, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and just as rich. “Come on Sparry the streets are lined with gold, let’s take the chance!”

We all have a reason why we are interested with this developing story. I have an insight into why Sparry behaves as he does. He does not care that his family has been there from day one. That they helped him, gave him money, included him with everything, gave him a job, nothing meant anything because he believes that the world owes him. Members of his family are sick yet he expresses nothing as a statement to wish them well. Princess Diana death was not the cause of his behavior. His behavior has always been there as a problem. Had Princess Diana lived, he would be blaming her for his life not working out the way he had hoped. Sparry is the problem. I am watching to see how bad things will eventually get. I foresee much worse. Just my own thoughts and opinions. Bless your hearts everyone! Hug your loved ones and smile that the sun shines. Life is beautiful.

Harry appears to have gotten stuck in the trauma, I'd guess he knows it and won't let it go, trying to keep his mother alive? Sadly he has to accept she has gone. Thing is it's workable with the right professional support. It's complicated grief BUT we can move forward having integrated it. It doesn't have to be our identity. I agree with you re reception speech. Isn't it interesting to follow William having moved on with his life yet appearing to respect his mother's memory too, and everyone around him.

I have an elderly aunt 95 who stunned us all at a family get together recently Harry came up in conversation she said "that lad got all the worst from both families " when we quizzed she said she knew he needed a lot of "sorting out " the day she saw him attack his brother on the royal yacht when he got hugged first by their mother Being of a certain era she also said that he was lacking a few bahookie warming (spanked bottom) and skelps up the lug (clip around the ear ) followed by a firm Never have happened in my day With modern view I'm pretty sure we would all frown on her solutions...but perhaps a more rigorous intervention may have helped 🤔🤔🤔

I was listening to Lady C., and she gave two past Harry incidents that indicate this has always been a troubled individual. The first was when he was a young child he has some type of motorized vehicle he would drive around the house. Well one day he revs it up and with all the sped the car could deliver he purposely crashes it into leg of a male staffer. The 2nd incident was Harry as a teenager was at some type of evening wear party; he decides to start tossing young women dressed to the nines into the swimming pool.

I agree with your grandmother! And I love her terminology. Angela Levin’s book on Harry was meant to push a positive narrative of him, but she mentions that at age 11 Diana took him on a yacht with one of the men she was seeing. And he got sloshed, and had to be carried to his bed. His substance abuse problems and other destructive behaviors showed up before his mother passed.

It is understandable with all his latest attitudes that cd be the wrong interpretation. As for princess Catherine -I believe she has the empathetic loving “common” touch of Diana and calm presence of mind and sense of duty as the late Queen. Even though I am in America I believe we are all so lucky to witness such a blessing. I wish her a great and speedy recovery.

I will always remember during the walk behind Diana's coffin, seeing William constantly surreptitiously checking on Harry, making sure he was doing OK. I can only imagine now how hurt and betrayed William must be, and I get very angry on his behalf at the UK media's constantly prattling on about reconciliation between the brothers. I can't imagine any of these fools reconciling with any family member who would do the same to them. They need to leave William alone, and if he wants to make peace with his traitorous brother, it should be in his own time.

Love Shauna's excitement for the upcoming chapter of "The Housekeepers Diary". I feel the same! H's self-centredness has been apparent for decades. His drunken, irresponsible behaviour caused his family concern but he did it anyway. He didn't apologize. He didn't reform his behaviour. Many of the public even liked him for his self-indulgent behaviour. I doubt the same mums who loved their "cheeky chappy, H" would've delighted in their own child behaving like him.

I agree with you about hawy, he is the one that has always dined out on his mothers death. Catherine was able to cope with the pressure because she had a strong loving life partner in William. Shauna you are spot on about Harry! William and Catherine were getting involved with mental health issues because of Harrys problems or should I say the problem of Prince Harry. I really like Queen Camillas’ personality, she has given King Charles so much happiness. If not for her , I think the King would be crushed by Harry and his despicable wife. Catherine will make a wonderful Queen but the legacy and graciousness of our late Queen Elizabeth will be unmatched ❤
