I'm not sure on the voice cuz I've only been watching a little bit of reruns of any of the talent shows but I am so tired between any of the shows of hearing the song never enough. Not saying it's not a good song just I've heard that song way too much that I don't think I can listen to it again

Anyway, I was watching the Voice shows in Europe and notice that some of the male contestants are singing the big hit songs sung by female artists(ie: Beyonce, Mariah Carey, etc...) and some of the chick contestants are singing the big hit songs sung by male artists(Adam Levine, Nick Jonas, Bryan Adams, etc...). What's with that?

I never could understand how on any voice some artists get to sing basically a whole song so the judges can take their time to listen before they turn. Other times the artists barely sing a few bars and the song is over so the judges don’t have a time to get any idea what the artists style is.

I think part of it is to see if that person thinks the singer is good; but, also, because if the person, whose genre it is, turns, they wanna turn and see if they can take the singer, away from that coach!!! Competition, at it's most fierce---or, ego!!! LOL It doesn't bother me, cuz, at least they're thinking-about their choices, no. 1; and no. 2, if they turn, the singer gets to be on the show, be heard, again, and maybe get a record deal; so, it doesn't matter to me, how they come to their decision.
