You are an awesome teacher showing the details of fancy picking which even a beginner could follow. I will keep an eye out for your Australian tour dates.

This was a great tutorial. I shared it with some of my friends that will put it to good use. It gave me some ideas to use on a couple other instruments. Great video.

Hi martyn. Thanks for the early Xmas present. I’ve never been able to sort my thumb picking, but was inspired to give it another with your daddy wah fiddly tutorial, but I have been struggling. Hopefully this is a way in for me. Keep your fingers crossed and have a very happy Christmas

Take it slow. Get a section right five times in a row then do the same to the next section. Break things down; say learn the notes then the picking pattern then combine. You’ll be picking in no time!! Thanks though. Kind words much appreciated!! 🎼🎯🎼

Yeah Martin, thanks i always have trouble with the constant thumb, not on 6& 4 but on the constant 6. And travis picking would be a big help. Thanx for your help. Guy B. rUSKIN fl.

hey do you have tab to show what thiscpattern iscexactly ? I have slowed it down and just can't figure it all out - would be cool if you could verbalize which strings your plucking hard to follow - thanks so much
@TheWashboardResonators7 ай бұрын
No tabs I’m sorry to say. When learning by ear it can take a very long time to figure it out. The reward is you build better ears than learning a pattern! 🎼🎯🎼

@@TheWashboardResonators fair enough but you may want to change the name of the video from “ beginner “ to intermediate - love your playing and would love to learn - beginners are beginners and need some guidance - thanks anyways -
