Hmmm. I inherited a family heirloom that looks a bit like your guitar but a bit smaller and the second neck above has a few slanted frets and is narrow like a violin. It’s rough and needs a lot of repair. Wish you could see it. Cool wall art at the moment.

Sounds like a version of one of these. I’ve seen so many with different specs and so many one offs made with particular details - presumably for the original player. If you play they can be made to work and are interesting for many reasons.

Nice. I just got a similar venitian guitar from the 1800s. Didn't get it for $500 like you. But did get a deal as they were asking $3800 and I paid $2800. Just arrived to the USA yesterday. I was wondering if you know what the tuning is for the bass strings? Any advice is appreciated. Kalifornia Karl

I much about with tunings! Generally I have all the triads of the key of G! My pal Matt Redman has a three part documentary on here about harp guitars and goes into the tunings. He’s an expert!! I am the exact opposite! Love them though. They’re cool guitars!!
