Fun fact: When my son was in 4th grade I played tag with him and all the boys in his class. At the time, I was an out of shape, coming off a 10-11 hour shift, 39 year old man and I remember being nervous that I'd be too slow to catch them cause I was fat and tired. Strickland being a bit leaner literally could mean he’s just eating a little less food. It doesn’t necessarily mean he’s working that much harder or that he’s going to be so much faster. I keep seeing everyone say the same thing and it just goes to show that most people don’t understand simple nutrition.

I think something youre overlooking is that conor can definitely put ilia down with a few different techniques but also conor would be front kicking him in the body the whole fight so by the time conor gassed ilia might also be gassed

Great reference with the Faber/Brown fight. I watched that fight when it happened and Uriah broke both his hands on Brown's head, then he kept going with the elbows even though he kept taking damage trying to get close enough to connect. Amazing fight and courageous performances on both sides.

I think the Joe Pyfer stuff is another attempt to erase Ngannou from the UFC history. I mean Pyfer is massive, could easily be a light heavyweight or a smaller heavyweight and the guy's fighting in middleweight lol. I think it just shows how different of an animal Francis was by putting heavyweights to sleep with very short punches.
