Happy Birthday, David! I hope you had more fun than starting to take the pool down. I also hope that Braylee hasn't had too much of an adverse reaction to no more pool. Those northern lights were awesome, Stacey, thanks for capturing them for us.

If she likes the water that much. Just a suggestion but for winter does she like bath's? I know when I was younger in the 90's both as a girl & also having autism I got a kick out taking bath's in the winter particularly because I knew I couldn't go swimming outside just during that season. I used to fill up the bath tub with squeaky rubber duckies & my lil miss mermaid doll (her body had color changing on the vinyl body when she was put in water) I also used to have a cassette tape with the song splish splash on it. It was the sesame street version of the song but ended up wearing out the cassette tape playing itso much during bath time~ 🤣 It's not the same as being in a pool but still in water none the less. It worked for me~ 🤣

She takes lots of baths (especially when swimming isn’t an option) she will even wear a swimsuit 😅

i've had our pool up through the winters in central WI . i treat clean filter... then vacuum... drain halfway. take the stairs out and cover off... i then add a tarp over the top tightly secured to the legs over the winter and this will be our . 4th year with the pool up i think.

I don't know if you've ever tried ZzzQuil but my daughter uses it for her sleep issues. She says melatonin doesn't really work for her but that ZzzQuil does. They make liquid and capsules. My daughter prefers the liquid. It is made by Vicks.

Not being able 2 sleep sucks! They say if you take melatonin 2 often it will no longer have any affect on you & the same with giving it 2 kids.. Although I know certain edibles can make a big difference or what ever form you choose 2 try out.. Lol I'm sure you know what I mean..
