Fascinating presentation. One radical idea I got is to look into the research of the HeartMath Institute about heart coherence. They have shown that there can be heart coherence within oneself, between people and even global heart coherence. That's an approach that goes beyond merely intellectual interconnectedness.

Really interesting talk. Thank you Dr. Oliver. Its vital that we understand how expansive and inclusive interconnectedness is. It needs to be seriously considered across and between many disciplines. Read Capra in the 90's and have just ordered your book on Audible. Pilsung!

I related to the overabundance of foods with Ag businesses and its stakeholders benefiting from fast foods, ready to eat, and convenience foods and snacks. Profitability is increased by using HFCS which is cheaper than sugar and can be up to 55% fructose with glucose balance. Honey and sugar are a 50% split. Adding in 5% more fructose increases a craving for sugar and fructose is processed differently in our bodies than glucose. The overconsumption leads to obesity in Britain, in the US, and in other developed countries. At the other end is 25% of the global population who are malnourished. It’s an imbalance with consequences in our health, rising health care costs and the drive for dominance of resources including the dwindling supply of drinking water and natural life.
