I spray perfume on my upper chest. It gets warm when I move around and releases fragrance for a lot longer than wrists. For scented lotions, I use a cotton bud and draw short stripes on the tops of my shoulders, the top of my sternum (don’t get it under the gore of your bra - most lotions stain!), and a horizontal line on my upper chest.
