Lopetegui has the difficult task of deciding whether he should play his best 11... or his most dedicated and disciplined 11. It seems like the team that played in the 2nd half was the more disciplined one.

If I was Lopetegui I would take Kudus to one side and tell him to play out of his skin and he will get his move to one of the top clubs in Jan, unless we are in the Euro spots and he can then go in the summer.

No sir, it wasn’t pretty, but it was a better result than it felt. There were a few positives, Kudus played ok in spite of the fact that he’s better on the right or in the middle, he could throw his toys out of the pram, but no, be buckled it up, and played well enough to not be subbed, but we also saw Mavro find his niche at Right Back, he was quite useful there, and AWB is just as good if not better on the left than right. So it’s falling into place, albeit painfully slowly. It’s really kind of amateurish to be calling for Lopys head quite yet. Did we really think that we’d come out of the gate on fire? I wanted to, hence a little disappointing, but then reality sets in and one realizes we may be acting a bit foolishly to be calling for heads this early in the process. That said, he does need a result, he does need a win, so hopefully he can. COYI⚒️⚒️
