VW your designers have done a fantastic job on some of the biggest problems facing drivers today. Visibility & sight lines look excellent without terrible C pillar & rear blind spots so common on Korean & Japanese cars. Oh how I miss the old 3 door hot hatchback days & just don't understand how or why someone would want a 5 door GTi. Strap the kids in! We're going for a DRIVE! (Sarcasm) Bring back the Sporty Hot Hatch & I may be a customer.

Why can't we have this and the Up! in North America??? I want both of these cars. My Golf is a treasure but too big for my crazy city. I want a tiny VW I can throw into a tiny parking spot, whip through traffic easily, and which uses barely any gas--but isn't a shitty Ford Fiesta, juvenile Honda Fit, or fugly Toyota Yaris. Don't even get me started on those little Chevy's. C'mon VW!!! And the A1 while you're at it!

awsome car vw in my opinion is making some of the best hatchbacks and small cars right now all there cars are great but i recently bought a polo and it is just so comfortable, fast and gets great gas mileage

Is the "new" Polo GTI engine not the same engine i had in my Passat 2.0 FSI turbo i bought in 2006?? Good engine then (0-60 in 7.7, pretty good mid-range pull as i remember but not really enough torque). Come on VW...wheres the progress???

Totally different engines mate, only shares same bore and stroke ... your Passat has the old EA113 2.0 FSI Turbo engine ... this new Polo has the 2.0 TFSI EA888 engine, which has much more torque.... EA113 started out as a N/A FSI engine modified with an added Turbo ... EA888 is designed as a Turbo-Engine from scratch.
