Hi all! If you put your money in a DAF, please remember to donate it!! There are over $200 billion just sitting in DAFs right now. People got the tax break but nonprofits aren’t getting the resources we need to work towards our mission. We’ve been feeling the pinch over the last 10 years. Foundations are required to do a 5% payout ratio while DAFs don’t have a required payout. (My husband is a doc and I work as a grant writer for a nonprofit.)

Good to know. Thanks! I'm finally taking a deep dive into learning financial literacy, and charitable giving is a big item for me. I'm 47, so QCDs are a long way off.
