No flex but my local movie theater has 5 rooms that can fit maximum of 30 people and you can ask them to play any movie you want. You guys know how the seats go up? Well at the top is a flat area with tables and couches which in my opinion is the best spot. It cost 80 and you can just pay 100 for a 3 month membership which is the max you can get.

12A actually means that kids under 12 can watch it if accompanied by an adult. That’s why the pencil scene caused so many complaints in the UK - because some parents brought their kids as young as 5, not expecting it to be as violent as it was. Fully on the parents if you ask me.

I love this trilogy. It’s my favorite set of Batman films as it focuses on Bruce Wayne and his journey as Batman, which hadn’t really been done before. I appreciate how different it is as you’re able to get sucked into the story and world that’s been created by Christopher Nolan and company. Christian Bale’s performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman is my favorite portrayal of the character as he really got the different versions of the character down to a T. The Batman persona where he unleashes his anger and pain onto criminals, the fake playboy Bruce Wayne that the city as a whole sees as an arrogant, self centered person that’s good at business and the real Bruce Wayne that people like Alfred and Fox see in all three films. Bale’s performance is one of the greatest I’ve seen on film. I think he should have been acknowledged by the Academy a time or two for his performance as how incredible he was in the trilogy, same with the trilogy not being acknowledged for top prizes for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for its final two installments, especially when The Dark Knight Rises didn’t get nominated for even technical awards, likely due to the shooting that happened in Aurora and how they probably weren’t interested in nominating a film that has such a tragedy attached to it. And regarding Heath Ledger as the Joker, it was never planned that the Joker would show up in more than one film as Nolan doesn’t really plan for sequels. Therefore, once we it was said that Heath Ledger died, Nolan made sure to never include the character in the third film at all, especially since he died during the editing of The Dark Knight and would have been more focused in getting that film done rather than plan for any future Batman film as again before only focuses on one film at a time and aims to make it the best film he can in the moment. And while it’s true he did think early on about doing a trilogy when he was writing Batman Begins, he quickly discarded that idea as he didn’t want to get ahead of himself and think he will defiantly get to make a trilogy. If he got to make a trilogy then great, but he wanted to focus on Batman Begins at that time. Same with The Dark Knight. Each film does have a bit of an open ending to them, but they’re made with a bit of a finality where if there’s no more to this series then we can be happy with what we got. He had an outline of a possible third film by December 2008, at which point the Joker being in the third film was out of the question. All that said, Nolan and everyone did an incredible job on these films, truly one of the best trilogies of all time.
@blackwaterproduction2892 жыл бұрын
Agreed bro, but I have heard that Nolan had one idea for the final movie TDKR which was to have the movie be centred around the trial of the joker! I am not sure if this was true, but maybe it was just that when Nolan decided to do the third movie was like man I really wish Heath were here so that we could do that! It might be something of that nature!

I think the movie told us how he got his scars.. Batman is the only person he feels like he can relate to.. both wearing disguises to serve their individual purpose. But to everyone else, he lies and manipulates.. So Batman is the only person he's actually most honest with. His first story was with Gamble so he chose a drunk abusive father as a story to maybe put more fear into Gamble as i'm sure he can relate with daddy issues. Then with Rachel, he chose a story about a wife.. something that would relate to Rachel to further scare her.. But in the ending scene on the building, Joker says, "You gotta do evvverryything urself.. speaking of which you know how I got these scars?" Which tells me his scars were self inflicted cuz he had to do 'everything himself'...

I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there."_

It also really bothered me for awhile and I remember looking it up and basically reading it was bullsh*t. I just watched this trilogy last weekend on nostalgia and I remembered that batman begins came out the same year as Iron man and I realized that DC fumbled the ball as usual in typical DC fashion. TDKR has the perfect ending with batman surviving and "Robin" stepping the bat cave. DC could have had a very long run on just batman movies that rivaled the MCU especially considering that when TDKR came out that series was just as good overall as what marvel had put out to that point. Minus avengers which came out at the same time. I wish they had continued at minimum with a Robin movie off that. Talk about missing the boat. Great video

Poor Robin Williams he got screwed out of the part for the Joker not once but twice. He audition for the part during Tim Burton's 1989 Batman previously. Tim Burton was hell bent on getting Jack Nicholson to play the Joker but Mr. Nicholson didn't want it at first. So Robin Williams was hired for the role. When Jack Nicholson changed his mind Robin Williams was given the axe. Mr. Nicholson got a big fat check and royalties on all Batman merchandise as part of his agreement.

Not to mention, TDKR also has Gordon directly citing from A Tale of Two Cities at the very end to commemorate the sacrifice of the Batman. A far better place that I go to. Bruce Wayne is a figure much resemblant of Sydney Carton who is in love with the same woman as Charles Darnay (Wayne and Dent both love Rachel), who learns that he must protect the Darnay if he truly loves Lucie, which is why he dies in place of Darnay. In the process, he transforms from an alcoholic to a noble gentleman, much how Bruce Wayne slowly transforms to being guided by anger and a search for vengeance to a realignment of his own soul.

There is a comic page where the Trinity are together (Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman) where she has them all touch the Golden Lasso and tell each other their secret identities and Batman says "Batman".

I hated that you kept saying Warner Bros. It's Warner BROTHERS. Always has been, always will be.

The Lamborghini Murceilago was named after a fighting bull, as are all Lambos. The bull was jet black and so his owners named him after a bat. The bull was famously spared after his fight and went on to sire many other bulls in the Muira ranch line, named for another famous fighting bull that was honored with a Lambo being named after him.

Dude. 2:25 It's pronounced KILL-ian Murphy, even though spelt Cillian Murphy. He's a proud Irishman with a proud Irish name. Aside from that, no Batman reboot will ever be as good as The Dark Knight Trilogy.

The Dark Knight is by far the greatest Batman movie ever made and also one of the best movies ever made in general, but Dark Knight Rises was seriously poorly written and frustrating. Every single policeman in Gotham marching into the tunnels to capture like 40 guys, getting trapped down there for months, and then emerging freshly shaved, perfectly clean, with their decorated uniforms on. Lmao
