U of I alum here. The Vandals also used to play in their football Stadium, the famous Kibbie Dome (or the Cowan Spectrum, as it was called for Basketball), and also in Memorial Gym, which was built in 1928. The new venue does look gorgeous, I'll have to go back for homecoming one of these years and take a loot at it.

Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah where Weber State plays once hosted a NCAA Tournament First and Second Round games back in 1994.

Brick Breeden Fieldhouse also hosts a rodeo every year. Holt Arena once hosted an NCAA round, when it was called the Minidome and ISU students nicknamed it the Half Astrodome. How about doing the WAC and the Southland?

The ICCU arena's roof was inspired by the rolling hills of the Palouse, which is known as the Tuscany of America. The UofI also has huge forestry and agg programs

Around 1970 in college, played in a game vs Idaho St in the Minidome. Really strange environment with the court centered on the football field. No depth perception and fans far away.
