I love watching your videos I live in Detroit Mi and watching these videos are like watching National Geographic learning how these wild animals live in these conditions are unbelievable and the way you catch them and set traps man is something I find amazing I'm sure it took you years to learn so much about living in the wilderness surviving under conditions where the average man wouldn't live 2 days I've been a fan of your channel a few yrs now and when a new video pops up I stop everything and watch it Keep up the good work Andrew God bless you and take us on a day trip into town one day I'd like to see how things are done along with the cost of living there it kind of puts things in its proper perspective about how important it is to live hunt and survive in the wilderness

@Vincent Nothstine Haha, you too eh ? That's a smell you never forget...AND it hangs around like a bad fart. I did one in the garage and my wife could still smell it in the house the next morning. Of course, I was wrist-deep into him at the time so I couldn't really smell it when I went back inside...but her face told me :) Now I have a separate hook and gambrel outside just for them.

Hi, I am an Arctic Alaska trapper and have been trapping for sixty years, forty five of them in Alaska, Since I was a kid I have used Hawbaker's lures and still do when I can get them. To my knowledge they were first made by Stanley Hawbaker. I smile when I hear you call them "HawBrakers lures." Check the spelling on your lure bottle. I am over 70 now and I suppose I could be wrong. but check the bottle and see what you think. I enjoy your videos, especially since you've cut back on the F word. Have a productive season. Sent some hawbakers and misigaaq(bearded seal oil) this morning. Sent it express so hopefully it'll be there In week. The seal oil I sent is probably fresher then what you had it's the good edible stuff we love to eat. I'd love you see you try a teaspoon with a dash of salt. Maybe dip some moosemeat into it. You want it to stink more keep it in warm spot for a long time and it'll age more.

To smell lue it is sometimes best to open the lure bottle and stir the scent towards your nose with your hand. To stir the little bottles of lure, use a nail held so that the head of the nail it at the bottom of the lure bottle. Lifting the nail gets the ingredients off yhe bottom. Thanks for the video.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I once took a snort of fox piss that way. I gagged and had tears running down my cheeks. I always said that if I ever woke up with a hangover so bad I wanted to off myself, I would take a snort of that to clear the bad thoughts, because once you snort it you can think of nothing else but survival. I used to put it on my boots when hunting. Can't bring the boots indoors, tho. I gotta tell ya, I was rolling on the floor when your head snapped back. Shame about the martens being thin this year. Same with rabbits. Sometimes there are cycles like that, especially with rabbits. Good and better luck, Bud.
