We cheated a bit when clearing trail on the line. We had a weed whacker with the brush saw attachment. Worked like a hot damn and made very quick work on the willows and swamp spruce.

My old man had a deal on his snowmobile exhaust called a muff can that would hold a package of hot dogs and would use the heat from the exhaust to cookum! Not as good as making a fire but if ya are in a hurry it’s a great way to warm um up and not have to stop

I am a passionate hunter and trapper from Germany and I am looking for a really warm parka, jacket or coat that protects me and keeps me really warm for hours during the freezing cold winter while I am waiting for boars and deer etc. in the forest. Right On Andrew! blaze the trail. couple things,,you ever use burnt logs for wolf attracting? saw that on a diff trapping channel. and Mother use to boil hot dogs when I was a kid. just saying, add hot dog flavor to the coffee or tea! or coffee flavored hot dogs. lol. Do you qualify for a carry permit? I know pistols in the North are expensive as Shit and the RCMP hassle you up and down about it but I think you’d enjoy the luxury of a powerful handgun rather than a rifle.

In the north we have a thing called muskeg and it is everywhere. My trapline in inaccessible in the summer time. No and before melt is the only time it can be done. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for commenting
