Andrew is it? Thanks for making these videos and giving us a look into your unusual lifestyle. It's encouraging to see someone living an independent life providing for themselves the necessary things they need to live from one extreme to the next such as yourself. I'll keep watching and maybe I too will find the impetus to want to venture back to Alaska one day. I've been there three times commercial fishing but I always wanted to go further in. Keep up the good work and seriously....you need to maintain the equipment dude.

What a start. Be nice to know did the spotted one bring the most. Health food stores sometimes sell good dried soup mix. Just vegetables no spice but good nutrition, light to carry & one can add some Knorrs soup mix to it. Toss grouse in pretty darn good. I used to eat a lot of raisins back at the cabin. Heck now you can get almost any dried berry or just buy the trail mix. If that skidoo breaks way out be aweful nice to have or melt some semi sweet chocolate on mix with moose meat cool & you got energy bar! By the way raid contains neuro disrupters.

I once had a Mink follow a lure back to my canoe while fishing. I pinched a minnow and dropped it to her. She took it back to shore, stashed it and came back for several more. Then I dropped my paddle for a ladder and she climbed in and ate a couple more under my seat while I fished some more. A great day. Fearless. I love seeing them.

Liked the red lens flare at 1:35. Very cool. In regard to ravens: Once when I was in the bush I heard this sound of a voice saying "Oh hello"....."Oh hello". Kinda freaked me out as I was the only one around. Heard it again.."Oh hello". Heard a noise in the tree nearest to me and a raven flew away. Scared the crap out of me. I put it down to the fact that someone probably fed it peanuts or something and trained it to say a couple words when it was young. Or it was a shape-shifter or trickster. LOL. Anyways, I headed back the cabin quickly after that.

Great video's Andrew! I can't get over the population of Lynx you have. I have spent the last thirty years tramping the forest's of New Brunswick, Canada (very simular looking forest to the area you're in) maybe only have seen half dozen Lynx! Usually just a flash and they're gone! Coyote's eat up all the feed I'd say. We try to knock em' down every chance we get (coyote's) but they re-populate at an alarming rate...Thanks again, cheers from the east! ps- I have a very simular pair of snowshoe's...my dad called them Pickerel's?

Hey Andrew, I snared a Lynx today with white tipped feet. You ever get one like that? Trapped it outside of Yellowknife. I built my own snared from watching one of your videos and from the piece you did on fur harvesters.

Fantastic, I just watched part 3 and 4, that's like a half hour TV show, better actually.... no commercials! I wonder just how long you are going to be held to the one side of the river with this weather, if the lynx population is like that all over your area, you are going to be spending a shit load of time in the skinning shack.

Hey Bro. Great start to your season it seems. I do have a question, You always seem to write off catching wolves. Why is that? Are they not profitable or are you only allowed to catch a few or something? I'd love to see you skinning out as many of those bastards as you can!
