i didn't realize how much this vid changed me until i watched it again after months. 1. i started setting daily goals and i was so determined to accomplish them. now it's been 2 months of me exercising bcz of that and it's my first time being this consistent 2. i did not "ditch my friends" bcz they weren't even friends to me, they weren't the ones for me and they were exactly like you said, instead i made new (real) friends and met people with a goal and purpose in life. it really affected me positively! 3. i started intensely taking care of my skin (suitable products & healthy diet) , body (exercising & moving more) and hair (treatment) alongside with my mental health and 6 months ago me wouldn't have believed it. 4. im also working on confidence and healing together, i do the positive slef talk and it never failed me, i got closer with god, closer to my soul, i meditated, i prayed, i searched for ways and signs and i GOT them, im way more chill than i was like about a month ago, and i still crave for the best 5. "humble, but aware of your worth" OMG little did i understand what this actually meant first time i heard it from u liz! but it's ok bcz i get it now. i used to be jealous of so many people, thought that no one liked me so i kept trying to please them and pretended that im someone who isn't me and the result? fake friends and a lost self, im grateful i started to get connected with my real self before it went too far. 6. i started setting clear boundaries and i showed them to people, the respect they built for me ever since was 👌 7. i started trying to know the real me through every way i can reach, i ceased watching shows just for fun and started reading books and watching things that can get me closer to myself, and i can say that i built an unbreakable respect and bond with me. and im so happy with it. 9. the self praising might look dumb air cringe for some people but i think it's a cute way to accept/love how you look (tmi: is sometimes blush when i compliment myself) and it makes me smile more through the day so why not?🤨completely harmless & kinda helpful! phew, that was the longest comment i wrote in my life, but i just wanted to show u how i take your words to heart and it really got me somewhere i wished i'd be in. if you're going to read this or not, im always grateful for you & you'll always be in my "things im grateful for" list

6 minutes in and she has spoken STRAIGHT facts. I’m 26 now and I knew this naturally at 16-18. If you tell yourself “for a month I will hit the gym straight no matter what” and you actually hold yourself accountable even when times are tough, you can’t help but feel proud of yourself. Unfortunately, from ages 22-25 I started behaving like a complete bitch because I wasn’t trusting myself due to me not following up with my promises. If we as human beings hit the gym, eat clean, and focus on making money consistently no matter what, we will all be extremely confident.

Wow, this vid is so powerful, i'm 19 still dealing with "social anxiety", lack of self confidence etc etc.. and it helps so much, like a few years ago i was the most insecure guy and i've been making improvements little by little and i'm doing so much stuff that i couldn't before, just by daring to do little things that are awkward to you and progressively increasing the difficulty you'll be way more confident, and god i still have a long way to go.

@Naes Galaxy i agree. I disagree with the way she presents to be confident. There is a fine line of being arrogant and confident and in some cases such as the one with the guy not opening the door is wrong. As well as when she doesn't do anything that doesn't benefit you. If you dont sacrifice for others without getting benefited some times then fck it

8:21 I can relate to this so much. I used to be desperate for a parter, for a lover, for someone to take care of me. I know this is a normal human desire but this shouldn't be the center of anyone's life. Now I'm learning how to love myself first before I can spread this love to another human being and that's amazing. I'm happy to be coming out of this phase. This video is gold and I'm so glad I've found your channel!! New subscriber earned for sure.

I LOVE how Liz affirms she will be the cycle breaker! LOVE IT when someone can be SO honest and so woken. Liz, you are such a blessing. My ex was abused by his mother as a child - she was an addict and awful to him as a kid. He struggled with addiction as an adult and trauma. I could tell he was hurt inside and sometimes, even though he had a loving heart, it would scare me “if” he would be also an abuser. He never “abused” me but he was dealing with intense addiction. I lived with him anxious because I never knew what would “trigger” him. Im happy to see how your life has made you be the voice to sooo many and helping sooooo many recognize their trauma and learn to HEAL! God bless you!

I love that she anchors confidence in what you DO. So many people think that confidence is something you’re just born with, or it’s associated with your looks or how many people like you but that’s the FARTHEST from the truth. Confidence is a muscle that requires movement and challenge to be strong. I was never confident until I gave myself reasons to be confident in myself. Sticking to promises I make for myself, not shying away from a goal just because it seems complex and difficult. It’s all in how you treat yourself and what goals you make. Lastly, I think making goals that aren’t just related to your confidence or self improvement is key. If you spend too much time navel gazing and being obsessed with how you’re progressing and being ‘that girl’, you’ll inevitably lose steam. Find a cause you care about and take steps to support it, learn a new language or go to classes (if you can) for a subject you’re passionate about. I’m the most confident when I’m working on my Biology degree- because it takes me outside my self while also making me better in the long term!

When I started working I started to realize how low my confidence was. And I started to realize it was because I relied on praise and achievements to see my self worth and after working I didn’t have much of that. So I realized confidence should come from within. Also I started to see that critical judgmental voice in my head was actually my own and no one else’s and people are more accepting of me and my flaws than I am of mine.
