This video just hits different honestly. I think that becoming your own parent isn't just about discipline. It's about self-respect, accountability, and actually showing up for yourself. I have been exploring books on mindBloomery lately, and the books really make you pause and reflect on everything. It was game-changing for me. The moment you stop waiting for someone to guide you, and you take initiative and start leading yourself, that's the moment everything changes.

I'm 22 now and I've healed myself to the point of accepting the fact that she doesn't owe me anything. I gave myself that unconditional love and support that I never got from her (after years of self-sabotage and sh). Hey Liz, you’re like a big sister to me, and as the eldest child in my family, I’m kind of the family therapist. I’ve been having a rough time lately. Academic stress is really getting to me, some friendships have come to an end, and other relationships are falling apart, so it’s been super difficult to get through this. My parents haven’t been much help, but I also get that they have their own problems. Yesterday, I had an awful anxiety attack, and then this video from you popped up. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you, and I’m grateful for you. Thank you for being the kind of person a 16-year-old needs. You are helping me become the woman I’m meant to be. Exactly people make excuses for upbringing when they aren’t even kids anymore
@VivaciousLyla7 күн бұрын
@@youranamvs8351 because a shitty childhood affects your adulthood. it fucks up your attachment style, which makes maintaining relationships different, if you were gaslit into believing you're not good enough, you're a failure, etc. then you internalize those things. yes it's our responsibility as an adult to work through these things as an adult, but this abusive behaviour should NEVER be justified or tolerated. the power dynamic between a child and a parent is CRAZY--the damage they cause you really is severe enough to affect your adulthood. just because you didn't experience the same things does not make it okay for you to invalidate someone else's VERY real-lived experiences.
@anaiss83547 күн бұрын
So I don't really write comments often but I started watching your videos 2 years ago when I had an anxiety disorder, no motivation I was not productive, waking up at 12 and not having any sense of spirituality. It's always more things that help you heal, (I was also in therapy the whole time) but, I think your videos were one of the most helpful things that helped me find faith, love for myself, the world, and gratitude. This lead to everything else in my life starting to align. Now 2 years later I can't believe how far I've come in every aspect, I am fit and healthy, dancing a lot, nearing the end of my studies, learned a new language, found a job and more beautiful. Materially I am not where I want to be yet but inside I feel happy and peaceful most of the time. So thank you a lot ❤❤❤

i've started implementing this concept in my life already for this new year and in a month i see a difference. i have a lazy inner child and when she wants me to stop working out and indulge in eating unhealthy i tell her "enough" and i literally identify as a tough love parent lol it's doing wonders. the concept of following the plan and not the mood is the same thing. the inner child shows up as emotions and sometimes they get in the way of our long term goals and well-being, simply because feeling good and confident in ourselves is not familiar. but the parent knows what's really good, and sometimes tough love is the only way. and of course you'll reward and celebrate yourself (and the inner child) for going through the hard stuff to achieve your goals afterwards. emotions will always try to get us back to our old ways, we have to implementing our inner parent too if we want to really feel good. and structure, routine and rules are the way to that feeling. balance is everything.

The going outside thing hits so hard because that was my exact situation growing up and even up to two months ago (I´m 24 now). I feel like I lack social skills, can´t hold a conversation sometimes and don´t really know how to socialise and be authentic. I don´t know how to make friends (and keep them) or meet knew people. In a way, when I look around, it´s like I´m stunted in some ways and i´m slowly coming back to the person i was supposed to be all along. I´m happy I initiated this process of evolving and taking care of myself. I feel hopeful about the future and I´m really happy I know you, Liz. You say so many relatable things while making us realize truths we don´t know how to face.

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.

Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Australia. Really need!

Yes Jefshroomies , I have a similar experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction, and mushrooms have significantly contributed to my recovery and being clean today.

I feel like I’m talking to the older sister I never had because I can relate so much to this. I’m 29 now and only just now healing my inner child and although I have thought about a lot of these, hearing you say these things make me feel so validated and encouraged. Thank you ❤

Liz, you're such a blessed person!!!! I'm so happy I found this video. I'm a very spiritual person and my guides are always teaching me to take care of myself, but I always struggle with it. This video brought tears to my eyes when I started to think of the little girl I used to be. I just wanted to say that I'm very grateful about your life because I can always learn on your channel, you're so iluminated. Thank you so much, you've been helping me a lot, the past year I just quit from some toxic friendship that I kept for years and now my life is so much better. I love your videos, thank you so much

ur so right. looking at photos of ur younger self and feeling sympathy is such a powerful part of healing. grandma doesn't have youtube obviously, so this is a great reminder to talk about this with the older people in ur life. ty for sharing another sermon in the gospel of liz

i remember this one time i felt like no matter what i did, people just didn’t notice me. i tried everything-confidence boosters, social tips, you name it-but nothing seemed to work. then i found this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it completely shifted how i saw myself. it’s not just about being noticed; it’s about understanding the energy you project. honestly, this book made all the difference for me. if you’ve ever felt invisible, you need to read it.
