Who used to be called Heretics ? Ignatius of Antioch was a student and disciple of the Apostle John whom God trusted the book of Revelation. Note below from John's disciple some of the different errors that were creeping into the early Church. Would John have corrected Ignatius if he was in error ? And most significantly, note that Ignatius did not believe that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one god or that Jesus was co-eternal with the Father. Those who reject the pagan three in one god principle are typically called heretics today, and yet in John's time it was the other way around. Never underestimate Satan to turn truth into error and error into truth. The Trinity is a creation of Satan via the Catholic Church. Do not be deceived and do not assume as most keep doing.

Why do people use the word Pharisee and immediately think they're all bad? Paul was a Pharisee. and Matthew 23 says that they sit in the seat of Moses and to do what they teach but not what they do. There was only a specific group of the Pharisees who were self righteous not all. in acts there was a group also who believed in Christ.

This is all well and good if your following the gospel of the circumcision or Paul’s gospel of uncircumcision? Gal 2:7. Paul said “we know Jesus in the flesh no longer” but now we follow the risen Christ. When will believers understand that the 4 gospels are really part of the Old Testament and that James, Peter, John and Jude were teaching the gospel of the circumcision like Jesus taught them to. Please read Acts 15 and see that Paul’s message was not the same message the other apostles were teaching. Faith and Works vs Grace through Faith. This oversight has caused confusion for believers from the start. How can you rightly divide truth? Yet that is what Paul tells Timothy to do. You can when you understand that there are 2 truths, 2 gospels. Seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened. I hope God is gracious with the reader and lights a fire for the truth in you.
