I've bought on numerous occasions frozen asparagus at the Dollar Tree. It's sold under the label Jennifer's Garden. But I can see why it's so cheap. The stems are really thin, not those thick stems like you see in grocery stores. However, that has no effect on the nutritional value. I just need something healthy to eat with lunch, I don't care about the appearance. So, the Dollar Tree asparagus is a good deal for someone like me. Per ounce, it costs half as much as at the grocery store.

The best thing i've seen come out of banquet is the frozen fried chicken thigh tv dinner. Dirt cheap and uses what is clearly old hens that stopped laying, but its a zero tvp, real piece of bone-in thigh with a fried chicken skin thats surprisingly similar to what kfc used to be like, even with the fried chicken smell it gives off. Pretty greasy though. Point being if you are looking for something decent from banquet thats the choice i'd recommend. I don't know if dollar tree has it but plenty of other places do. Anyways its worth it if you're craving some decent fried chicken and don't want to pay a fortune at kfc or have to make it yourself

And I don't like using 5 square feet of foil for every dish, either.

@devodavis64544 жыл бұрын
@@WhitneyAbrina it depends on what you cook. You go get that thing from your friend immediately! Get a big bag of tater tots (or wedges, or steak fries: my fave is crinkle cut usually but the air fryer doesn't do crinkle very well) for three bucks and go to town; you don't have to clean it at *ALL* after taters. Baked potatoes are heaven in there, and fast: wash em & rub em with oil & Kosher salt em for a crispy skin. I make boiled eggs in it, too; 6 minutes at 350, no water or anything. Chicken nuggets or tenders are both no cleanup. If you're willing to use 1 piece of tinfoil, frozen chicken breasts right outta the bag are ready in like 11 minutes. I start em for 1 minute so the seasonings will stick, then cook em at 360 for 8-9 minutes & let rest a minute or two. You can experiment or use a thermometer, but that's my method. I bought a jar of poultry seasoning & another of Cajun seasoning, I have baked chicken a LOT. Take out the foil, put soapy water in it & watch some KZbin and it's not near as bad as I made it sound, I just hate using the foil every time. And I like to complain ha ha I also get a lot of use out of toaster waffles and frozen sausage patties. I start the sausage in there & when it's almost ready I throw my waffles in. Breakfast from frozen in like 8 minutes. If you get the pre-cooked sausage, no grease: or use that foil and again, zero cleanup. I love the thing, it's changed how I buy groceries. Sorry for writing War & Peace: Air Fryer Edition, but I want everybody to have an air fryer, Heidi!
