Well, for me, this song is my all-time favorite song performed by my all-time favorite band. When I first heard "The Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin, I found my first favorite band. When I first heard "Kashmir", found my first really favorite song. My favorite sets of metal was the 80's, and thrash and speed were my favorite sub genres. Exodus is my favorite thrash band,.but Zeppelin still stood tall. I heard Opeth, and after 40 years Zeppelin was no longer my favorite. And when I heard "Ghost of Perdition", new favorite song. Well this song and Lovebites now sit on top of those lists. I personally feel this is the greatest collection of talent I've ever seen in one group. Keith Emerson has been my favorite musician for around 50 years. Well, 2nd favorite now. Miyako is my favorite. A virtuoso pianist and guitarist, an amazing composer, and I just love her stage presence/persona. Behind the scenes, she smiles and seems to enjoy her life. I never expected all these firsts at my age (63). There is so much great metal out there, past and present. So who knew Lovebites would absolutely steal my music/metal heart. Nice reaction.

There are many great bands in the world and in metal history(I'm 56yo). These ladies have no peers. There is Lovebites, and then there's those that might attempt to be like them, and the rest who don't even try.😍 The bucket list for me is to see them in concert in Japan.

A powermetal clinic, this one, on multiple levels. The vocal tour-de-force and jaw-dropping shredding come first to mind, but the rhythm section is absolute perfection on this track. The interplay between bass and drums is astonishing, given Fami's brief tenure when this was recorded. But she and Haruna are working together on this one as if they'd been doing so for a decade. Look at the bass lines underneath the guitar solo trade-offs: Fami's part varies for each of the four sections, and each underpins the solos with subtle sophistication (how in hell did she get this level of nuance at 20?!?). When the bass gets very percussive with pops and slaps during Miyako's second solo, the way it fits in with what Haruna's doing is mind-blowing, and together they reinforce what Miyako's playng perfectly. Genius. Apparently Miyako laid down some bass parts for this and essentially told Fami "use these as your guide and knock yourself out." Mission accomplished.

Good reaction. My favorite band at this time. Best metalband for me. 60 songs and not one bad song. Asami, the singer, great voice R&B background. Miyako, the black haired guitarist wrote half of their songs, lots of masterpieces. Amazing pianist, started piano at 3. Discovered the guitar at 17/18. Self thought. Midori the other guitarist, also piano at age of 2 or 3. Great guitar teacher for Miyako. Amazing solo’s and harmonizing solo’s. Fami, new bassist, replaced the former bassist Miho and one of the founders of the band. Miho is in most of the video’s on KZbin. Fami already famous with her bass covers on her own youtube channel. Haruna the drummer and co-founder of the band. Amazing drummer with endless stamina. Miyako is my all time favorite music artist. Please go on down this rabbithole. This song put Lovebites back on my playlist. I saw Iron Maiden live when I was 16 years old (1986) and this band kicks ass. Check out Band-Maid for the Rock/Punk/Blues/Metal that they offer. I would recommend checking out the Official MV Dice to start with. The official MV "From Now On" is an epic metal instrumental that would also blow you away. Rock on!

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015. The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP". On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hummer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HUMMER.
