This got knocked out as a single that wasn't even on the album Definitely Maybe. Oasis had atleast another album of B-sides that could easily have been A-side. They did eventually release a album of those B-sides called The Masterplan.

As a Brit I can attest to the fact that if an Oasis song starts playing in a pub people will perk up and if sufficiently lubricated with booze a sing-a-long will begin. They are hardwired into the consciousness of Gen X, Millennials, and even Gen Z.

@corybaker. The world doesn’t revolve around USA. 1 big hit. Pmsl. The rest of the world disagrees. Look at Chile , Brazil. Italy. Uk. 125,000 people per concert ! When you get another band covering your song in a foreign country you know you’ve arrived! ( killers,wonderwall,Chile). Ask Dave Grohl & Brandon Flowers who their influences are .. Oasis were HUGE. And for 2 years the biggest band in the world. Even now Liam & Noel separately can draw huge audiences.

Knebworth... 250000 people, 2 nights biggest gigs in UK history even to this day. Its strange when I watch this video because I'm in my 40's now so I remember how Oasis changed Britian and everyone got behind them (well the working class at least). At the time of recording they were the biggest band on the planet, no other band has had such an impact since Oasis
@romz13 жыл бұрын
Since youre liking oasis. Perhaps some other uk indie rock bands of a similar style - Blur, Stereophonics, Embrace, Doves, The Verve and perhaps a sprinkle of The Smiths, The Stone Roses, kasbian. Theres a huge collection of bands as UK indie rock went through 3 big waves of popularity, in the late 80s, mid 90s, and early 2000s.

The really sad thing is that noel has not forgiven Liam and holds a grudge. Immediate family can always be forgiven no matter what. So sad to see noel turn his back on his brother. Lifes too short.

I don't think all the blame can be put on Noel. Anytime Liam has a couple too many he calls Noel a cunt on Twitter, so it's easy to see why Noel doesn't want anything to do with it. But I do wish they'd make up. If not for us, for their mother who has said she wants them to make up before she passes.
